Harry walked to the Room of Requirements, the eighth year common room. He had enough for one night with dealing with his friends' teasing. He knew that's all it was. Teasing. But it was annoying at times. Ecspecially if it involved Malfoy in the teasing. Harry didn't know why, but that just made it worse.
Once he made it to the common room, he walked up to his, Ron, and Neville's dorm room. Apparently when the Professors were deciding dorms for the past seventh year students, they put Dean and Seamus with some others. Harry was now thankful for that. It's untelling what all four boys would say to him if they were all in the same room again.
Harry had expected that during the teasing, Hermione would step in and stop them, but even she was finding it hard not to let out a giggle at it. He had also expected since the teasing took a turn with Malfoy in that way, Ginny would've said something against it. She is his girlfriend after all. Well, sort of. Yes? Maybe? Ok, maybe Harry still didn't know where him and Ginny stood when it came to their relationship. It was complicated still.
He did know however, that when Ron had told Ginny she should've been more jealous, Ginny pretended to act as if she actually was. So, does she think they're still somewhat together? Why do girls have to be so complicated? Harry thought to himself. He didn't understand why Ginny hadn't asked him or tried to start a conversation with him about their relationship. To be fair, he hadn't tried to make an attempt to talk to her about it either. It just seemed too awkward.
Harry got tired from even thinking about his little situation. He decided to actually go to bed early. He was already in his dorm room now, so he just climbed up in his bed, laying still so when his friends came in, they'd think he was asleep.
At first, like the other rooms in the common room, they had bunk beds as well, but since this was still the Room of Requirements, they changed it to where they each got their own bed.
Harry laid there, silent for a while, thinking to himself about random thoughts that wondered into his mind.
That was until, Ron and Neville finally came into the dorm room. Ron walked up to his bed and laid down after he had changed. He glanced at Harry's bed and sighed. "Hey, mate, are you alright?" Ron asked, thinking that Harry might have actually been angry with them for teasing him during dinner.
Harry stayed completely silent, not wanting to have to deal with Ron trying to explain how it was just a joke. Harry knew the teasing was just a playful joke, but Harry got irritated with it.
"Mate, I know you're not asleep," Ron said and rolled his eyes a little. "Are you actually angry?"
Again, there was nothing but silence on Harry's side of the room.
Neville finally spoke up, "Ron, just leave him be for now. Maybe he'll talk in the morning?" Neville suggested, but Ron paid no attention to him.
Ron grumbled under his breath and shook his head as he pulled the curtains shut around his bed, finally giving up after ten minutes of Harry ignoring him.
Harry just didn't want to have to explain himself why he was annoyed at the teasing.

The next morning, Harry woke up early before his friends, so he could sneak out without being questioned.
He changed into his robes and headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast, even though he knew he most likely would be the only one there besides a few Ravenclaws up early to do some studying. Harry wondered if Hermione would be up then, to get a few extra hours in for studying. Hermione was currently bugging Harry and Ron, for the past week, about studying for the N.E.W.Ts even though the year had just started.
