The Girl With The Long Blonde Hair (Lucaya Fanfic)

Chapter 1:

Maya's POV:
Today was my first day of high school. I couldn't decide what to wear oh wait I forgot I couldn't care less. So I just threw on some red and black plaid shorts on top of of black stockings and a plain white shirt with a leather vest thingy on top. I put eye liner on to make my ocean blue eyes pop. I left my long blonde curly hair natural and then I put my combat boots. I grabbed my bag and headed to Riley's. My mom was never around since she always worked so I didn't have to say bye or anything

She opened the door before I had the chance to knock she pulled me in.
"Whoah slow down Riles!" I said as she dragged me into her room
"Today I see Lucas again" She screams
"What's up with the mysterious Lucas dude anyways" I asked
"He's super cute he has green/blue eyes and dirty blonde/brown hair and I froze and act like a 6 year old in front of him" She explained "I've liked him since first grade but..."
"Spill it Riles" I said in anticipation
"There's Farkle, I've literally known him since I was 6 and I kinda like him, he treats my like his queen and is totally in love with me, all Lucas does is treat my like I'm a princess not even his" she fakes a pouty face "but Farkles a totally geek"
"Honestly Riles just follow your heart and see where that leads you" I say "Now let's go before we miss the subway"

We arrive at the school and Riley goes up to a goofy looking kid and a super hot kid. I'm guessing that's Lucas and the odd ball is Farkle.
"Hiiiiii" Riley says like a goof ball facing Lucas
"Riley grown up voice" I tell her
"Heeeey Lucas" She says trying to be smooth "hey Farkle"
"Hey Riley" the both say in unison
"Who's this" Farkle asks
"This is Maya" Riley introduces me
"Hello ma'am, I'm Lucas friar" he introduced himself I noticed a country accent oh boy Imma have fun messing with him
I casually say "Sup"

Lucas POV:
The girl with the long blonde hair aka Maya she was beautiful with he ocean blue eyes and a smile that could light up a whole world.
"Hey Bucky Mc Boing Boing you coming" Maya asked snapping me out of what ever daze I'm in making me realize the bell had rung and they were walking inside.
I quickly catch up to Maya and ask "Did you just call me Bucky mc boing boing" I chuckled
"Sure did ranger Rick" She said smiling to herself
"Yee-haw" I said
"You're not playing this right" She stopped to turned to look at me and pointed a finger at me while Farkle and Riley continued walking.
"Well that's certainly not my intention" I said playfully pinching/shaking her finger
"Okay Friar, if that's how you wanna play I'll get to you some day" she said and we continued to walk
"Well if that's what makes you happy, I'll make sure to try harder next time ma'am" I said and smiled and tipped and imaginary hat
"Oooooohhhh" Maya said clenching her fist making and adorable face
Our lockers were right next to each other, this is gonna be a fun year
"So hart where you from?" I asked her
"Chicago" She said
"Oh so we got a city girl here" I said
"Don't push it cowboy" she said closing her locker
"What's your story Maya" I asked
"Why do you care ranger Rick" she asked leaning on her locker
"Just curious ma'am" I said teasing her then I looked down at her wrist for some reason and I saw scars she quickly slid down her sweater
"Maya are you serious" I asked "Is your life that bad that you had to do something that stupid" (a/n depression and self harm is a serious thing and I just trying to bring awareness to it and how many people at this age older and younger are dealing with these issues an some of the causes so maybe you can help them and I hope I do not offend any of you)

Maya's POV//

I snapped after he asked me that "Yes I'm serious Lucas, you don't know the first thing about my life or what I've been through" I basically scream and a just run out the door.
I hear Lucas call my name behind me. I run to the park and slide my back down a tree and I hear footsteps behind me. Of course it's Lucas.
"Lucas can you just go away I need to be alone right now, but of course you wouldn't understand no one does" I say and begin to cry
Lucas sat down next to me "Look Maya I shouldn't have said that back there, but what's honestly wrong"
"Nothing Ranger Rick, I'm just fine" I said while wiping my tears away and faked a smile, after all that's what I'm best at"
Lucas made me face him "Maya I know you're not. Now tell me what's wrong"
"It's not that easy!" I yell
"Why not," he yells back
"I'm sorry that it's hard to explain why I'm depressed because part of the time I don't even know why I'm depressed it's just the way I get! My dad has another family and he never makes time to see me, and frankly I don't blame him who would want a broken depressed disappointment of a child" I said while crying
"Maya-" Lucas began but I had cut him off
"I'm not done, my mom is never around to her working is more important then makin sure her daughter is alright, and guess what she's anything but okay! And this is my way of coping with the pain, it's not right but to me it takes the pain away and makes me feel a little better, you probably think I'm insane and I don't know why I just told-" this time Lucas cut me off my hugging me
"Uh What do you think your doing" I said before I gave in and hugged him back I cried in his shoulder for a few minutes before wiping the rest of the tears away and putting on the famous fake smile.
"Well let's get back to school, cowboy" I said and pretended like nothing happened

A/N Hey guys sorry if you thought this was a saddening I'll make sure he next chapters are happier. I just wanted to explain my interpretation on Maya's back story to explain why she's broken and what it can do to kids her age and what they my resort to. Please no one take offense to this.
