Chapter 4

Maya's POV//
I walk on my crutches into the lunch where Missy is flirting with Lucas. I walk over

"Hey Lucas, missy" I give her the death stare "why are you hanging out with her" I ask Lucas
"She-" Lucas begins but Missy cuts him off
"Do you have problem with it, crippled" Missy asks and stands up everyone gasps and is staring at us
"Yeah Missy I do" I say
She towards over me "What are you gonna do about it, emo"
"Back off Maya" Lucas stands between missy and I
"Having your boy toy to defend you Maya"
"I don't need you jumping to my defense every single time a problem comes my way" I say
"May-" Missy cuts him off again by smashing mashed potatoes on his face and hers
Mr. Matthews comes by us "Detention both of you"
"Alone oh no" Missy says
"Your funny" I saw and smash potatoes on Missy's face
"Ugh you bitch" Missy says
"Maya detention" Mr. Matthews said and smiled and winked
"Thanks Mr. Matthews" I mouthed and he nodded
"Ms. Bradford you better watch your language or you have more then detention alone" he smirked
"Ugh" Missy shrieked and walked away
I crutches towards Cory "Nice job Mr. M"
He does this little goofy smile to him self "I know"
||Time skip||
Riley's POV//
"Dad I want detention too" I said and pouted
"Riley you've never had detention in your life, "why start now" My dad asked
"Because my best friend is it" I said
"How could you possibly get detention by the end of the day" my dad laughed
"I have a resource" I said and smiled "Maya"
"Uh oh" My dad said frightened
Maya came and knocked my dad down with her crutches she knelt down carefully and held his arm backs while I messed with his lips
"Yeah that'll do it" My dad said
"Pleasure doing business with you teacher daddy" I said
"Yeah" he said, he turned around "nice one Maya"
"I thought so" She said and flipper her hair and I laughed
I helped her up and gave her, her crutches
"Now what would I do with out you" Maya asked
"I don't know" I shook my head and smiled

||Time Skip||

Maya's POV//
Detention was starting. Riley had made pretty place cards for Riley, Lucas, and I. An a jacked up one for missy. She put us three together and Missy way in the back. Lucas and Missy walked in together and smirked at me. I hissed at her, and smiled. Lucas laughed.
"What are these place cards" Missy said picking up my card then setting down again
"Yep I made them" Riley said proudly "You sit back there" she said pointing to the back
She began to see to the left of Lucas "I think this seat has my name on it"
"Okay let's begin" Mr. Matthews said walking in "I like to have my detention with some learning in it" he wrote friendship on the board
"What's going on mr Matthews" I asked confused
"See ya at 5" Mr. Matthews said running out the door then locking it.
I got up and hopped to the door "Mr.Matthews!"
"Can't hear you" he said
"What about the bathroom" Riley asked
"Figure it out" He said and left
"Great Riles your dad killed us all" I said
She stood up "No he didn't, he presented us with an opportunity. Opportunity for us all to.... Become friends" She perked up and opened her arms.
"You've got to be kidding me" Missy said and banged her head on the desk
