Chapter 3

Maya's POV//

Lucas, Riley and I were about to walk down the stairs when missy came along.
"Maya" she said
"Missy" I replied with a obvious fake smile
"Stay away from Lucas his mine" missy gave me the death stare
"Uh no I'm not, i hate you missy and I would never like you" Lucas said
"Never say never" Missy smirked then she pushed me down the stairs "Oops" she said then walked away.
While I was rolling down the stairs I heard Lucas yell for me and Riley scream at someone. I felt something crack in my foot or ankle. I finally reached the bottom of the staircase and I see Riley slap missy and I see Mr. Matthews come up and drag Riley and Missy to the principals office. Lucas quickly got down the stairs
"Are you okay" Lucas asked with a concerned look on his face
"Well besides the fact that I think I broke my ankle and I'm gonna have a few bruises I'm just perfect Ranger Rick" I said trying to reassure him that I'm alright
"Let me help you, ma'am" he said and picked me up bridal style and took me to the nurse
"Oh sweetie what'd you do " The nurse asked
"It wasn't my fault Missy Bradford pushed me down the stairs" I said
"Are you sure it was missy" she asked
"Yeah she's sure" Lucas answered
"Well that should be enough to get her suspended maybe expelled" the nurse stated while wrapping my ankle and giving me crutches
"Yeah I shout head to the principal office my self" I stated
"Do you need help" Lucas asked me
"Sure Sundance" he laughed
"You two make a cute couple" the nurse said while we were walking out my mouth dropped and I turned around
"Oh no were not" Lucas cut me off
"I couldn't agree more" Lucas said
I was about to speak when he cover my mouth and we walked out the door
"What the hell was that" I scream whisper
"Don't you think we'd make a cute couple" Lucas said rubbing the back of his neck
I took a step closer to him with my crutches I looked into his green eyes and said "Lucas we would never work I have to much disappointment and heartbreak in my life. You're mr. Perfect we would never work" I said
He looked said then he smiled "I wouldn't hurt you or break your heart, how do you know unless we try" he said then lightly grabbed my face and kissed me. It was my first kiss
"I have to go see Riley" I broke the kiss and walked as fast as my crutches could take me all the way to e principals offices not looking back.
I saw Riley sitting out side the principals office door
"Riley why'd you slap Missy" I asked sitting Missy "I didn't even know you had the guts no offense"
"I didn't either it was such a rush. I slapped her because she pushed you and no one pushes my best friend" she smiled and wrapped her arm around my shoulder
"What's your punishment" I asked
"I have detention for 2 weeks" Riley said and sighed the smiled "It was totally worth it"
I laughed "what about missy" I asked
"She's in there right now" Riley said as the door opened and mr. Matthews walked out with Missy who just gave me and Riley the death stare
"Oooh scary" Riley and I said to each other
"Come on girls were going home" Mr. Matthews said
"Maya's ankle dad" Riley reminded him
"Okay we're going home after we take Maya too the hospital

Time Skipped

We just got back from the hospital(we're at Riley's house) and my ankle was broken in two places and I have to wear a cast for 8 weeks.
"Mr. Matthews why am I staying here" I asked
"Your mom won't be back for a few days so she asked if you could stay with us" Mr. Matthews said
Mrs. Matthew/Topanga came up behind him and rubbed his shoulders "And we couldn't be happier to have you stay here"
"Thanks" I said and Riley helped me to her room
She texted to Farkle and Lucas to come over and through her window sill bed thingy like Farkle always does and in 5 minutes Farkle was already here
He opened the window "hello ladies" he said flirtatious
"Farkle" Riley and I said in unison
"Maya, Farkle and I have something to tell you" she said
"What" I asked scared they looked at each other and smiled "Spill it Riles" I nudged her
"Farkle and I are" Farkle cut her off
"Dating!" He said goofy like
"Congratulations Riles I'm so happy for you guys, you really deserve each other" I said
"Thank you Maya that means the world. I hope you get a boyfriend soon, you deserve happiness" Riley said
"I don't" I said and looked down
"What you don't what" Riley said
"I don't hope, because when you hope you get disappointed. And I gave enough disappointment" I said
"Maya" Riley looked sad
"Don't worry kiddo Imma be just fine boy friend or not" I fake smiled
"Lucas likes you and I can tell you like him back so just give him a chance" Farkle said and right on time Lucas came through the window
"I heard my name" he said and we all smiled
"Lucas haven't you been meaning to ask Maya something" Farkle looked at Lucas
He rubbed the back of his neck it's actually so attractive when he does that "So Maya Uh I Uh was wondering if Uh you'd like to go on a date sometime"
"Uh no" I said
"Maya" Riley snapped
"I'm kidding you guys are no fun" I got up and hopped over to Lucas and hugged him "I'd love to cowboy"
"Thank god because I was about to say" I cut him off
"Just shut up" I said and smashed my lips against his he placed his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck he kissed back then we pulled apart
"Dont run away this time"
"This time!" Riley shrieked "When did this happen before" she stood up and crossed her arms
"Uh long story" I fake smiled
"Mmhhh" she said
