Aera smiled as she scrolled and came across news and articles mostly about her.
"Good work everyone! I'm satisfied with everything today except for the fact that I asked for the stock market prices file of Aera's choice and didn't receive it". As Aera's smile disappeared the staffs face paled when they heard her say that.
- 𝘼𝙚𝙧𝙖 -
"Miss Jiyeon? How long has it been since you joined my company again?" I asked tapping my nails against the iPad that now laid on my lap.
"Just a f-few weeks ma'am!" Jiyeon replied and I could see her rubbing her palms together, nervously.
"And you couldn't do one job right that had been assigned to you?"
"I'm really sorry ma'am please forgive me!" Jiyeon bowed.
"Oh no please don't apologize you don't need to because you're fired". I announced.
Small inaudible gasps filled the room and Jiyeon's face paled even more than before and she quietly sat back down at her seat as she knew that if she argued with me it would be a tigress vs a mere rat.
I smiled and placed my hands on table, now giving my attention to everyone sitting in the meeting room.
"I've given all of you high positions in my company but that doesn't mean that you misuse it. I want the same energy and enthusiasm I'd seen in you guys when I appointed you to your position, I want all of the work done on time and anybody who fails to obey the rules and regulations of the company will face a similar experience to what happened to miss Jiyeon today, so be prepared for that".
I placed my right leg over my left and leaned back to a more comfortable position.
"Right now Aera's choice isn't just trending in Korea but worldwide as you all may already know, I need all of you to work hard and show everyone that we deserve what we get". Everyone nodded at that and I could see a few tired eyes here and there, the meeting had been going in for about 4 hours now and that to without a break.
