25 : I'm sorry

It was around 8 pm when I'd finally gotten home from work, now I sat on my couch with a mug of my coffee in my hand as I sipped on it ever so often.

It began to unexpectedly rain today even when it showed no such thing in the weather broadcast.

The rain hit the window constantly along with a few thunder claps.

The ringing of my phone broke me out of my trance and I picked it up from where it lay, beside me on the couch.

It was a FaceTime call, from Jimin.

I smiled as I clicked on the accept button, holding the phone up to my face and grinned even wider when I saw his face through the screen.

"Ooh, are you that happy to see me sweetheart?" He chuckled while his head hit the pillow gently, he was most probably in his bedroom at the moment.

"Of course I am, I missed you so much the whole day". I said with my lips unknowingly getting pushed down into a pout.

"I missed you more sweetheart but what can I do? It's raining cats and dogs outside I can't even come visit you like I planned to". He said, his expression mimicking mine.

"How was your day?" I asked him to which he let out a sigh.

"Boring. A bunch of meetings, nothing new how about yours?" He answered.

"I had a shareholders meeting which went on for quite a while but I didn't really mind that because I got meet all my cousins after so long!" I said and chuckled at my excitement.

"Did you have a good time with them?". He asked as he turned in his bed and rested his cheek on his pillow.

"I did! We fooled around a lot like always!" I said and giggled to which he gave me his eye smile.

"When are you officially taking over the Queens Enterprises?"

"Hmm, next week. Two days after we come back from our road trip, I'm quite nervous about it". I admitted truthfully.

"It's gonna be alright! Trust me even I was nervous as heck, I was shaking during the official takeover but everything gets into place slowly, just have faith in yourself and everything will be okay". He said, his voice sending me comfort.

"Yes but the news hasn't even been made public yet I'm worried about how everyone will react".

"There will of course be people who'd have objections but you shouldn't pay attention to them, there'll always be people who'll have something to say at every step you take, they will find your flaws and will continue to bring you down constantly reminding you of those flaws of yours now it's your choice to not listen to them and go your own way. Just do your own thing and don't listen to those you shouldn't listen to. As long as you know and you're sure, aware of what you're doing then nobody should question it". He said.

"How are you so good with your words?" I sighed out and chuckled.

"I guess I just am".

"You-" I was about to say something when my door bell ringed and interrupted me.

"I'm guessing you'll have to go now?" He asked. And I nodded.

"Alright sweetheart we'll catch up later I'm gonna go to sleep now as well I'm quite exhausted today". He said and blew a kiss towards the camera and I pretended to catch it and place it on my heart to which he giggled.

"Alright then, goodnight!" I said and ended the call.

I wonder who is it? It's raining so harsh outside I don't think it's safe for a delivery man to come.
