CHAPTER 3

Here I was in front of the school gate, Education, occasionally they use an old building to make a school ground, at first I was groan why it was built it just back in Boarding school. But Joel courage me to give it a chance, besides he tells me it's different from the military zones, I know he means well but this isn't the way I need for mine, I hate schools. 

As I did standing there like atoll I see that Maria was beside me, Joel isn't there as he goes patrol far off from Jackson with Tommy. Joel, Tommy and the rest of the group that consists of 5 people were patrols around to see if Infected or fellow raiders were in that area. After a few days back the Raiders Attack, the Jackson city take full precautions on who's entering and who heads out, some were against it but they soon realized it was necessary to avoid the circumstances like this.

I was heading to my Classroom and I look that Maria will take care of Macy if I'm not around, I head to the Classroom and look around clearly kids around my age, I was kinda feel overwhelmed and not making an eye-contact on anyone because I clearly didn't want them to know my true self, protected my arm I feel anxious as a bunch of kids was looking at me curiously, I took the far end of the seats, I sit down and see that there's one seat left open.

Looking around teachers haven't arrived yet, or not thinking the outcome of what we're going to learn today. While waiting I just pulled out my sketchbook and started sketching something, just to ease my anxiety around them. As I was sketching there was a particular girl watching me, this gives me the creep I just turn away from her and continue drawing. I continued drawing until a boy came in front of me, I lift my head see it was an Asian kid, he asked me what I drew,

I didn't reply I just kept silent, until he just takes it away from me, not as aggressive just unnoticed to me, this gets me to shout at him, this cause everyone in the class to fix their gaze on me, then he commented on the drawing,

"Damn, this is a nice one, you capture this room perfectly!"

With that said everyone eyes were turned on me I was feeling anxious just about it, my first day and I was drawing too much attentions. While he was distracted looking at it quickly I snatched it from his hand and store it back in my backpack. Everyone gaze was suddenly turned away and continue daily, I feel embarrassed that this kid just did that upfront. 

While everyone was on their own the Asian kid turn to me, looking regret and say,

"hey look I didn't mean to steal it from you, I just wanted to see what you draw, I'm fascinated with someones drawing. My names Jesse, what's yours?"

I feel angry about it showing my angry faces to him with a retort,

"yeah? Why do you care?!"

I asked angrily but no raised voices.

" C'mon, I'm just kidding before, besides, that girl over there ask me what's your name"

"Her?" I asked confused as if she asked him to tell me my name. I asked why she didn't personally come by herself, well he answered was,

" Well she shy to ask for it and send me to do instead, that's it you get from me, seriously I don't know how you girl's feel, anywho care to name or you're just going to say your misses nobody?"

"Ellie," I say my name Then he understood and say, "Hey Ellie, as you know I'm who, that girl that asks me to say your name, is Dina, so yeah nice to meet you and sorry for earlier, Seriously you draw nice. You should teach me how to." I laughed at his comment then he sees me confused as to why, I just said to him,

"Are you seriously flirting with me?" He was gushed about it and denied it no, he quickly turns away and took his seat beside Dina, I see that girl Dina she make small hand waves to me and I repay it to her. She winks at me and turns to her sides to talk with Jesse.
