Some people found it weird. Others found it too much drama. Others found it way too difficult and couldn't understand how you did it while other people wanted it to too. Envied you because of it or wanted to befriend you just to get to him.

Now you would be asking me, what was it that some people envied you for? Well you see, you had a boyfriend. While that should be reason enough for the envy of others, there was more to it. Sure, he was sweet, kind to everyone, had that caring a and funny side.. and while that was really the most important to you, to other people he was the guy on the covers of their magazines.

Your boyfriend was a model, working for the biggest agency in the country. Famous in some other countries, well-known amongst high school girls and face of the number one clothing and perfume brands sold worldwide. Sometimes you felt like you were just a nobody when you were with him, but you knew that was nonsense and you shouldn't think like that.

You had your own things to be proud of. You weren't famous like him or anything, you weren't selling something worldwide, and only a handful of people really knew you. Despite that, you were quite content with your life and you wouldn't change it for anything.

You heard a phone ringing, and you lazily lifted your arm to reach for your cell. You opened your eyes and saw babe🥰 on the screen so you pushed up on your elbows and pressed the green button.

"Why are you FaceTiming me I look horrible." You grumbled as you moved a hand to rub the sleep out of your eyes.

"It's the middle of the day why are you even still in bed?" Chanhee chuckled and you felt yourself smiling at the sound of it.

"It's nap time." You replied. "Nap time is good we like nap time."

Chanhee shook his head fondly, someone not in view telling him to sit still right after to which he softly apologized. You frowned and took a moment to look at his surroundings. Some people walking behind him with stuff in their hand, another person was standing next to him but you couldn't see his face cuz he had his back turned towards the camera of his phone and yet another person was yelling stuff in the background.

"Wait where are you?" You asked him to confirm your suspicions. He looked back at his phone screen and inhaled. "I told you I had a shooting today, right?" He asked, confused himself.

Oh.

That actually made sense, considering a woman's fingers were working on his hair.

"Yeah you told me." You assured him you didn't forget that. "Give me like, half an hour I'm on my way."

Chanhee chuckled at your words. "Babe you're literally still in bed snuggling my pillow. So much for oN mY wAy."

You groaned and mumbled a response, telling him you'd be there for him and hung up, tossing your phone somewhere on the bed.

You didn't want to get up, really. You treasured nap time and you were perfectly fine with staying the rest of the day there. But, you were a good girlfriend, so you forced yourself to stand up and change into some leggings and a hoodie, brushing your teeth quickly and fetching your phone before you stepped out of the house.

It wasn't that cold, only the beginning of fall but already you could feel that it'll be a winter with snow. You hadn't had snow in nearly three years but something in your gut told you this winter would be different. You walked to the nearest bus stop and waited for a bus to drive by, which didn't take that long and when you were seated you lifted a hand to smooth out your hair a bit.

It was only a short drive there, since you loved somewhere near the building so it'll be easier and you could've walked it, but you were just being lazy today. You looked out of the window and fidgeted with the sleeves of the hoodie you wore, waiting for the bus to stop.

When it finally did you get off and walked up to the large building. It was white, with windows scattered all over the sides up to the roof. Big neon coloured letters on the front told people the name of the company, and you sighed as you entered.

You pulled out your phone, the picture of your bias on your background flashing in front of your eyes and it made you smile a bit as you pulled out the card Chanhee had given you a few months ago. You showed it to the woman behind the counter and she nodded, telling you the room number. After you thanked her you walked up to the elevator. When you got up to the right room you opened the door as quietly as you could, not wanting to disturb the shooting.

"Yes just like that. Keep your head a bit tilted- yes exactly!" The camera man spoke in an almost nonstop slur of words. He wore a cap on his head and was moving the camera around quickly as he shot pictures of your boyfriend standing in front of a large screen, girls on each side of him holding white round things and you knew that those were for the light so his features would jump out as best as possible.

You quietly walked around the room, finding a spot to watch everything but you wouldn't disturb them in any way. The room was rather quiet, save from the camera's clicking with flashing lights and the encouraging and praising voice of the man taking pictures. Not too long after the man with the cap stood up straight, signalling they would take a quick break and as soon as Chanhee stretches his arms out above his head you approached him.

"You're great." Was the first thing you said to him. He turned to look at you and chuckled. "Ah, it's just standing still and looking at a camera, it's no big deal."

You shook your head. "No seriously- not a lot of people can do it like you do." You said, and you knew you were right. He had that picture perfect look. No bad angels, flawless skin, pretty features..the whole nine yards. They could put him in ridiculous outfits and he'd still fit their image of beautiful.

"Then I'll just take the compliment." He smiled and tilted his head a little, the earring dangling from in his ear shining a bit in the light. "Thank you." He said and leant in to press a quick kiss to your forehead before a woman approached the two of you. She held makeup brushes in her hands and you immediately offered to hold them for her while they fixed his appearance a bit for the next part of the shoot. She thanked you when she was done and you just smiled, telling her it wasn't a big deal and you were happy to help.

"Are you gonna stay here?" Chanhee asked you as he unscrewed the cap of a water bottle, lifting it up high and tilting it so he wouldn't have to ruin his faint lipstick. You nodded and smiled up at him. "Of course. I told you I'd be here for you remember?"

"Yeah okay but- I don't know how long this shoot will take and I don't want you to be bored or anything." He said. You snorted at his words. "I got out of bed for you, bold of you to assume I wouldn't stay here for at least an hour or two."

"Still..." He said and frowned. You just shook your head and took his hand. "I'll go get something to eat later, don't worry. Just focus on your shoot and do well, okay?"

Chanhee smiled softly at your words and nodded, turning his head when he heard the man with the cap announcing they'd continue shooting. He turned to look at you and squeezed your hand before letting go. You wished him a good luck even though you knew he didn't really need it and you got a mouthed 'I love you' back.

You watched as he took his place again and his face turned from your sweet boyfriend to the cold-looking model. The clicking of cameras started up again and the man with the cap didn't fail to praise and encourage him in the process. He chanced from a standing position to a sitting position, twirling his head and looking straight in the camera, with his head tilted up or with his gaze casted downwards.

You kept watching him for a while longer until your stomach started making silent noises. You didn't want to disturb them so you stood up, making your way to the exit and then you quickly slipped out of the door, softly closing it behind you as you went on your way to get something to eat.
