A small one uwu
You sighed as you looked up at the ceiling above you. You were laying on your bed on your back, with your arms and legs spread our wide like a starfish. If you weren't currently busy you would've played some music. But the only sounds accompanying you on your peaceful evening were the soft sounds of a keyboard, a computer mouse, soft humming and the occasional sound of a pen scribbling something on paper.
Your phone was laying up by your head against the headboard, and you closed your eyes to listen to the sounds coming from it. It was calming for a little while, but soon enough you sighed. When your boyfriend had called you an hour ago you hadn't thought he still had some work to do.
You moved you legs, rolling around to lay on your tummy and you propped your chin up on your palm. You blinked sleepily at your phone as you looked at the screen. It was a little dark on the other side, curtains closed to block the light of the moon and the street lanterns from outside, all the lights inside the room turned off except for one. The small black one on his desk. It was pulled close to him and turned towards his work, the light illuminating his face.
He was looking down at his paperwork with his chin resting on his palm. His dyed hair partly fell in front of his eyes and his lips were pushed in a soft pout. He frowned a little at something and lifted his head to look at the computer screen in front of him, typing something before clocking the mouse and writing something down.
You could see he was working, and you didn't really want to disturb him. But he was the one who had called you, and you got bored just watching him.
"San." You called, watching as his eyes cut to yours through his phone. You pushed your lips in a pout and blinked your lashes. "Gimme attention."
His eyes widened slightly and the corner of his lips twitched upwards and he dropped the pen from his hands. He shut off the computer and closed his paperwork, binding it back together neatly before standing up. He took his phone with him and you could see him plopping down on the hotel bed.
"Hello beautiful." He smiled up at you through the screen. "How was your day?"
You couldn't help but giggle softly at his behaviour, pushing over on your back again like he was right now and holding your phone above you. You smiled at him for a moment, just looking at him with his hair fanned out over the bed. He had pushed away all the work he was finishing up when you asked him to. No matter how busy he was, he always made time for you like that and made sure you got what you needed from him. He knew being his significant other wasn't the most easiest task, and he did what he could to make it bearable.
The late hours of the evening turned into the early hours of the night as the two of you talked about whatever came to mind, a FaceTime call never something to last shortly.
