Chapter 6: Everything

Narrator's POV:

"Awe come on, Luce. Don't be like that. This is something that's going to be between us. Always."

Is what she thought Natsu was going to say, but instead he looked into her honey brown eyes, staring intensely at her shocked eyes.

He blinked and leaned back from his position on Lucy's couch slowly. "We can decide after our date with happy, yeah?"

Lucy was a bit disappointed, not knowing whether or not he wanted to be official.

She struggled to fight her tears but smiled back weakly.

"Okay."

"Waaah! Natsu!" Happy cried out in an exasperated manner, leaping into my Natsu's arms. "Lucy ate all my fish!"

Natsu grins at the small, blue feline, patting his head and whispering jokingly, "Maybe that's why she's gotten so much heavier lately!"

Lucy was fuming. She places her palms on the table gently and stands up. "Then maybe I just won't eat at all, yeah?" 

She slides out of the booth and makes her way to the front entrance of the restaurant, slamming the door on her way out.

"Uh oh, Natsu, maybe you shouldn't have brought up her weight like that."

His eyes nearly bulge out of his head. "You call her heavy all the time, you hypocrite!"

"Lucy!" Natsu calls out from behind her window. He attempts to open it to no avail, as it was locked. He knocks on it softly, but loud enough to heard throughout the small house. "Lucy, please let me in."

There was no sight of Lucy, and the window remained shut. He sighs before jumping down, stepping up to the front door.

He knocks on it a couple of times, then twists the knob a few times and quickly finds it was unlocked. "She must have forgot to lock it after being blinded by anger.." he murmured to himself after entering and shutting the door.

"Lucy, please! I'm sorry, I was joking! You're not heavy and don't look overweight in the slightest. Even if you were, you're still beautiful because you're you, Lucy. I love you, you're my everything and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." 

He stiffened, anxious she may have not heard him. He looks around the dark room and hears a quiet sniffle.

"You promise?"

Natsu grins and opens his arms.

He immediately felt Lucy's small frame fit against his body flawlessly, her sweet scent immediately filling his nostrils.

"I never knew you had such a way with words, Natsu." Lucy snickers and leans her into his chest.

His face becomes flushed and he pouts. "Y-Yeah, well, I just wanted to make you feel better, an-and-"

Lucy stands on her tippy-toes and pecks him on the lips.

"I know, silly. I'm just teasing." 

Natsu wraps his arms around Lucy's waist, swaying them side to side slowly.

"We should tell them."

Lucy looks up at the fiery mage, confused.

"Tell who what?"

Natsu pulls away from their embrace and grins at her proudly.

"Tell the guild about us.~"
