2. Adaptation

They walked down the hall, the place actually looked like a university but the difference is there are rooms with people in it. Just like normal classes and people are actually stared at them making them anxious and apprehensive

"This place is so big..." said Maprang, everyone actually has the same thought. They would never thought there will be a place like this

"umm what exactly is this place?" Aim asked one of the senior, the one with big build

"Patience, we'll explain it later. My name is Bright, what's yours princess?" Bright asked Praepailin, she is indeed beautiful but.. "sorry, but I'm as straight as a bending pole" she said with a sheepish smile while Bright's expression is completely dumbfounded

Kongpob feels like laughing but he held it in, most of them burst into laughter looking at Bright's expression and Kongpob can't stop himself from staring at one particular person. His laugh sounds like music in his ears

"Kong, you're drooling." Aim whispered beside him while elbowing Kong teasingly

Right when Arthit turns to him, Kong immediately look the other way and he can hear Aim and Tew's laugh behind him

Why am I friends with them again he sighed

They stopped in front of a giant door, Arthit pressed his hand against the pad between those doors and it opened revealing a huge room with long-ass table and many seats

Arthit stepped aside indicating the newcomers to walk into the room first, no one moved though. They watched the seniors warily "relax, we won't bite you know" said Tootah, one of Arthit's friends

"yeah. Maybe only nibble a little" Bright joked which earned himself a smack in the head from Arthit and Prem

Kongpob's POV

Seeing that no one moved, I liberately took the first step into the room and soon my friends followed. We took a seat around the table and those guys took the seats in front of us, I tried not to show the dissapointment I felt when I saw Arthit sit across me. I really wanted him to sit beside-, wait hold the fuck up. Where did this thought come from? I barely know the guy!

"okay.. shoot!" one of them said

All of us stare at him confused. It was awkward as no one speaks up so I volunteered "Sawadeekrab my name is Kongpob Suthiluck" I wai at them and my friends began to introduce themselves one by one

"what about your abilities?" one of them asked "shouldn't you introduce yourself too?" Wad asked and I can see one of them doesn't like the tone he used, he was about to speak up when Arthit interrupted him

"My name is Arthit" he said and pointed to his friends one by one

"the grumpy looking is Prem" "hey!"

"the one with the stupid face is Bright" "I'm handsome, you ass!"

"the big guy there is Knot" Knot only stare with a bored expression as if he's used to their behaviors

"and that... is Tootah" the guy name Tootah furrowed his eyebrows "wait. That's it? What about me?"

"You're the big fat one in the group" Bright snickered "Bitch" Tootah smacked Bright's head

"can you guys stop smacking me?!"

"Here, we are your seniors and I'm sure you guys have a lot of questions so we'll do our best to answer all of it" Knot commented, immediately all of us bombarding them with the questions that's been bugging us
