2020 UPDATE

Hellooooooooooo there! How are you? I hope you're well. I'm also well, thank you. I realised I should probably update this story since it's been four years since my last update. 

This story has over the years amassed so many reads and it still surprises me. Thank you everyone. I do see your comments, I'm very bad at replying but know I do see them.

In my last update I said 2016 was the year this story got published. Welp, it clearly didn't. I also proposed a sequel that never quite eventuated. I seem to make promises I never keep lol.

This book won't be published, nor will there be a sequel. If you haven't seen, I've decided to rewrite this story. It's called Things Change and so do People. There are two chapters so far and after a bit of writer's block (so early, I know) I'm on the verge of the third chapter.

There's an author's note which explains the rewrite, but basically I for years have wanted to rewrite TUC but could never find a good way to do it. Now I have and I'm doing it slowly while trying to balance my job and (very boring) life. 

A lot has changed since 2016. I am a better, more experienced writer. I am older and (very) slightly wiser, and I have a dog. His name is Seb.

If you are still interested in this tale, I'd appreciate it if you read my new story. I don't know if Stacey's story will ever go anywhere beyond Wattpad, but I want to give her the story she deserves.
