I opened my eyes. Daryl was still sleeping next to me. His arm was tightly gripping my waist, like he never wanted to let go. I could hear voices in the distance. Everyone was already awake. I shook him lightly.
"Daryl. Wake up." I whispered.
"Hmm?"
"Wake up." I said again.
"I don't think so." He mumbled sleepily.
"You sure about that?" I asked. I sat up and moved my hands up his sides until I reached his underarms.
"Don't." He said.
I ignored him. I started tickling him. I knew he hated that. He pushed me off and I landed on the ground. Then he got on top of me and started to tickle me.
"Stop! Stop!" I yelled in between laughs.
"Let me think about that. No." He continued to tickle me.
"Abbey? Daryl?" Daryl stopped and we both looked up. Rick was standing in the cell doorway, smirking.
Daryl stood up and cleared his throat. "Mornin'."
"Yeah." Rick chuckled and left.
Daryl's face was so red. I stood up and started laughing my ass off. "That wasn't funny." He said.
"Yes it was." I said, still laughing.

"Be safe." Maggie and Glenn were going off on a run.
"We always are." Glenn said.
Maggie smiled. "We'll be safe."
Daryl and I were on fence duty. The walkers where piling up.
"Daryl?" I asked.
"Yeah?" He looked over to me.
"Are you sure you still love me?" I don't know why, but I was getting nervous that he didn't really mean it. He had ignored me all morning.
His eyes widened. "Of course. Why would you ask me something like that?"
I bit my lip. "I don't know. It just feels like you've been ignoring me today."
"Im sorry. I just don't want anyone to know about us yet so I was trying to keep it on the down low. But I think Rick already knows. He said.
"Oh yeah. He definently knows something's going on." I said.
He looked around to make sure no one was watching and pulled me towards him. "You look beautiful."
I blushed. "I'm covered in dirt and blood."
"I don't care." He pulled me into him and kissed me. We could hear the walkers moaning and groaning around us, but we didn't care.
I stopped him. "What if someone's watching?"
"Later?" He asked and smirked.
"Later." I smiled.
We continued stabbing walkers through the fence. I looked down at my blood and dirt covered self. "I think the blood really brings out my eyes." I said to Daryl.
He chuckled. "I think so too."
"You know what I miss most?" I asked him.
"What?"
"Being clean. I haven't taken a shower since....hell, I can't remember the last time I took one."
Daryl smirked. "Remember when we took a shower togeth-"
I cut him off. "Yes! Yes I remember." I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks.
"I remember you kept moan-"
I cut him off again. "Ok! We don't need to talk about this anymore. We're supposed to be clearing the fence."
"Nothing to be embarrassed about babe." He winked.
I shook my head. Walkers where appearing non-stop. It's like they were coming out of no where. But somehow, it was relaxing. All the anger and stress that I've had during my whole life was leaving my body. It was like a huge weight lifting off my shoulders.
All of a sudden, Daryl cleared his throat. I looked up and saw a woman standing within the swarm of walkers. What surprised me most was that none of the walkers touched her. Like she had this forcefield around her.
I yelled over to Carl who was standing at the front gate. "Carl! Open the gates!"
Sorry if this was short or cheesy. Oh well. Anyway, who watched the marathon on AMC??? I know I did. Also, my friend has recently got me obsessed with Pierce The Veil. Who else listens to them??? Well, that's it. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. :)
