Chapter 16: The waiting time.

SLOANE'S POV:

The team and I got into the hospital as soon as we got the call.
"What happened?" I asked really scared for her.
"Uhm- she was having a rough day and-" Torres stared to explain before Gibbs cut him.
"She came and told me that she and Torres are together, I screamed at her and said things I shouldn't have."
"Then she came out crying, started to cough, then coughing blood, then she passed out." Torres said while he was trying to keep his tears from falling.
"Oh my god are you stupid Jethro? She just got surgery on her lung and you scream at her for one stupid rule?! What did you expect?! She is always at work, she doesn't have time to date, she's always with him, they were constantly flirting, and you didn't stop them! You knew it was gonna happen!"
"I KNOW OKAY, i know, I messed up, but now what matter is her, not the talk."
He was right, we didn't know anything about Ellie's condition.
The doctor came in.
"So the patch we put on her lung went out so we put a knew one but she's gonna have much more trouble getting through this, she is intubated, again, and very weak. We don't know if she'll wake up."
"Can we see her?" Torres asked.
"No not yet, someone will come to you."
"Ok thank you doctor."

TORRES'S POV:

I wanted to kill Gibbs at this time, Ellie was dying because of him.
Someone came and told us we could see her even though she was still sleeping.
"Hi B, it's me, I don't know if you can hear me but I need you to come back. Please come back."
She woke up and tried to talk but couldn't.
"Hey, it's okay, you're intubated but you're okay."
She wrote down something.
'I quit the NCIS, I won't work with Gibbs anymore.'
