CHAPTER 21 REWARD

LISA

I arrive at the Hotel and walk my way at the elevator , i was really curious about the reward that she was about to give me , a few moments later i heard my phone rang and it was my dad 

"Hey dad ... how's it going ? , how was Mr. yang ? " i ask and and i heard him sighing heavily and i heard a long pause at the line

"Yang and i will coming in paris tomorrow we need to discuss something at the both of you " he said and i heard his tone is a flat serious this time 

"About what?" i ask but he didn't want to say it to me he wanted it to be personal 

"by the way I'm so proud at the both of you , you did well , Yang was so happy and also proud of Jennie " dad said and i smile as i remember her walking confidently at the stage 

"Please tell him i will be always there for Jennie , don't worry I'm taking care of her " i said before i hang up 

i reach the floor of our room and walk at my way at our doors way , i swipe the key card and i was surprise because Jennie haven't Arrived yet , i texted her and i receive no response 

"Where are you ?" i texted her and i waited a few moment before the door swung open revealing Jennie with a bottle of champagne 

She place the bottle at the side table before jumping at me and  giving me a tight hug 

"Hey ... Wanna take a rest ?" i ask but she shook her head stubbornly 

"Nope ... we're going to celebrate , and to give your reward later " she whispered the last part that made me shiver thru my spine

i open the bottle and she prepare the two wine glass , i poured at the glass and took the other glass from her , we took off our heels and we sat at the couch as i place my arms around her shoulder 

"Dad called earlier , and he wanted to meet us tomorrow night for dinner after they arrive here in paris" i beamed and she nod

"Your dad is so proud of you Jennie , he wanted you to know that " i said in a low tone and i saw her wiping her tears , she tried to hide it but i can clearly see her watery eyes 

I held her close and soothed her as i make her calm 

"I miss him ... thank you Lisa for always being there " she said as she sob at my shoulders 

i caressed her back and we pulled off as we heard a phone ringing , it was hers this time, he took the phone from the coffee table and answer it right away as she saw the caller , it was her dad

JENNIE

"Dad? ... how are you ?" i ask at the line and he is breathing heavily , i miss my dad and i had a feeling that his condition is getting worse everyday 

"I'm fine ... i heard about the speech and i saw you on TV you look so great Honey ... and daddy was so proud of you ... I will always be " his statement made me sob so hard and now i can't say or utter a word 

"I miss you dad " is the only thing that i can say 

"I'll see you tomorrow don't worry ... and please tell Lisa that i would like to thank her for taking care of my daughter" he said and i nod 

we hang up because he said he needed to drink his medicine and take a rest

i now went back at Lisa , she is not saying a single word yet he manage to stay calm as she held my hands at hers , i was so glad that Lisa is always there for me and before i forgot . i will be giving her reward tonight
