Cheers!

Does anybody remember the last two years? Cause they all went by like a blur thanks to the dumb lockdown and sickness.

I do remember it, though, because I got pregnant again in 2020 😂 (whoop surprise! Lol). Hilarious after saying I was done with kids—it was the family joke. But God does have a sense of humor, doesn't he? Lol. (I am thankful though because children are a gift)

This pregnancy, felt off for me the whole time. Admittedly, I was a bit depressed having to go through this sickness again. Because with my previous one—it was just a nightmare. Being bed ridden the first 3 months because I couldn't get out of bed without throwing up. (Even after my first trimester, I got sick quite often up til delivery almost🙃). I also didn't like them calling this "the covid baby" 🤦🏼‍♀️

This one wasn't so bad in the sickness area, but I still had it pretty bad where I stayed in bed for a few weeks. The birth story for her is quite the tale, which I'll tell you all about it in the next chapter.

I'm thankful for the lockdown in the sense my hubby could stay home for the better part of half of my pregnancy. It would have been a nightmare in the first tri without help and taking care of a one year old and five year old. So I'm blessed for that.

I had to go through the whole gestational diabetes again unfortunately. Since I just had a baby the year prior, this one was a bit harder physically as I didn't get to really lose any baby weight.

But I refused to go to their stupid nutrition class and get another "finger pricker machine" <- what I'm calling it. I did get to take the glucose test twice this time but ended up failing both.

When we found out we were having another girl, we had no idea what to name her lol. I had my last girl's name picked out since I was 16, so I was letting my husband have the final decision on her name this time.

OH BOY. You know those baby name apps with literally thousands of names on them? I got one that had the origins and meanings as well. I like to name our children that have a good meaning behind them, not just whatever. I believe the meanings of names are powerful and have somewhat of an impact on a child's life. So I wanted something that sounded good with a nice meaning.

I went through about 300 names (no joke!) with my husband 🤣🤣 saving a few that I liked and would come back to later (cause I obviously thought I could persuade him —big fail lol).

We ultimately thought of her name in the last month or couple weeks—I'm not sure anymore but it took the whole pregnancy! 😂😂

She's the cutest little baby — I'm biased so is every mom lol.

Now please enjoy the birth story in the next part because it's a roller coaster.
