The bell rang and it was finally time for lunch. As we did not have a lot of money in my family, we rarely went out to eat. We basically ate in our backyard. We had a small garden and it was really what we lived off on when it came to food. Sure it was healthy but sometimes we wanted to eat something with meat. My family is all for the vegetarian lifestyle but as for me. I wanted meat. Beef, Pork, Chicken, Lamb, Fish, all of it.

Today for nutritious lunch was dried apricots...yay. I thought it might've been a nice cucumber with some fresh strawberries or an orange, but sadly it was not to be.I sat behind the same old willow tree in the far back of the playground. I picked through the bag and began eating the leatherish texture of the fruit.

But then something touched my fingers, it felt like more of a different shape than the other apricots that i had been eating. Slowly I pulled it out to find a human body part.

Half of me wanted to scream, another half was filled with curiosity. Not about how the ear got in the bag in the first place but what it would taste like in my mouth.

For a second I was disgusted by the idea but what if? What if it doesn't taste as bad as i think it'll be. I mean it still looks fresh. And sure there's still cartilage but that doesn't mean that there still might be meat on it.

I was hesitant for only a moment before taking a small bite. The ear was soft and didn't smell all that bad, chewing was a little difficult but it was manageable. I thought to myself, what would it taste like if cooked, or still attached to the owner of the ear.

This was all a new feeling to me, something i didn't think i would ever feel in my life but,,

I think i love the taste of human meat.
