I had a dream last night that my grandfather Ron had passed away in the hospital and was saying hi to me. Telling me how happy I am to be free from the shackles of earth. He made the afterlife sound cool. Then I saw my grandmother May float with him into the light. That's when I woke up to the ringing of my phone. I thought it might've been my alarm clock but it couldn't have been, it was still dark outside.

"Oh my god babe turn that thing off, i'm trying to sleep." my partner River groaned.

"Sorry" I apologized for getting out of bed. Turns out it wasn't my alarm, it was my mother calling me. I walked out of the room downstairs to the kitchen and picked up."mom?" she was crying over the phone, making muffled sentences i couldn't understand."I can't hear you're crying, calm down and take deep breaths okay?"

I could hear her breathing heavily with small hicks in between before she spoke, shakily."You're grandfather finally passed away" my eyes widened.

"How?"

"He died in the hospital just a couple minutes ago. I'm here right now and I'm scared. Can you come get me?"

I looked at the clock, it was only 3 in the morning. Sighing I said, "yeah okay wait there."

A couple days later..

Looking over the will of grandpa Rons with the arbitrator took us while to get through the whole thing. He was a rich man that was comfy owning a lot of property he planned to give out. The most important thing out of the entire will was the money and his private island somewhere in the Caribbean.

"Lastly we have the Private island of Manglehorn bay along with his money. The name written here goes to his eldest grandchild. Stewart."

I choked on air as I felt my heart race with excitement."Oh my god! I won the big deal! Suck on that Jerome!" I flipped off my brother who sat right next to me. He frowned.

"Ah ah ah. There's something else written here. But if the eldest is not fit for his 'throne' then he will have to earn it by finding the island himself. The rest of the family may try to find the home as well. Whoever makes it first will be rewarded the island and money."
