I watch the rainwater flow down the windows of the car and hear the raindrops hammer the roof, I grab my backpack and guns from the back seat. Derek's body is resting at the trunk, I'm going to bury him back at the village's cemetery once this is over, I can't find Kieran's body however—I regret not searching for him more. The interior lights and the car itself were turned off as I take out the keys and step outside. I listen to the sound of puddles stepped from my feet and hearing the raindrops tapping the roof of the car, I'm all soaked and tired—I don't really get that much sleep over the past two days.

The smell of rain and other varieties of scent just pictures Darwin in my mind, secretly sniffing the smell of trees, leaves, his socked feet and other sorts of things trying his best not to look like he's enjoying it, maybe so he can keep his cool, but his tail betrays him as it wags.

The moonlight occasionally fades from the storm clouds, that's the only source of light I can get and nothing else, my flashlight's busted, probably from the water back at the city subway. The outdoor parking lot's abandoned cars have piles of dried leaves scattered all over them—they also give off the scent of rust and rubber, along with the dried leaves mixed with rainwater. some of the light posts are tilted or fallen off.

The fog, darkness, roaring thunders and heavy rain just gives me nothing but problems in searching for the goddamn warehouse, this town's filled with trees and stores. The warehouse is here somewhere in the woods, right?, "Blue, white and orange huh?"

I wander the woods and rest under the roof of a bus stop and take a seat. I took a moment to catch my breath and my stitched-up torso aches. It's freezing cold, I started to sniff and exhale a cloud coming out of my mouth. "Darwin, I really hope your not dead when I get there." I murmured.

I continue to walk on the muddy forest floor, panting, grunting, and the rain just gets even worse. What the hell does Fate Watch even want from Darwin? Why didn't they just kill him on the spot? I guess I'll find out sooner or later.

Darwin: Chase... I hope you're safe out there... The warm glow of torches and burn barrels inside the warehouse of fucking Fate Watch, a rope tied around my paws connected to a metal beam is uncomfortable as hell, I'm all bruised, wounded, my nose bleeds and also got a black eye. All I can hear are the crackling flames, raindrops hitting the steel roof, the chattering of strangers doing all sorts of stuff down here and the second floor of the warehouse.

Look at the narrow table crowded with strangers in front of me, chatting and dining, one of them whispered as they saw me woke up, the bluebird beside him stood up from his chair and everyone went silent—they all stare at me with grim faces, my chest is pounding. He approaches and bent his knees with his hand turning my face at him, I growled.

"Aww, where's your friend now, little wolf pup?" they all laugh, my throat started to ache—trying my best not to cry. "Why don't you go fuck yourself." "Huh, what'd you say?" he slapped me and my head turned to the right, I shed a tear. "Hey, I have something to say." I slowly face at him, "Remember those people I killed a few months ago? I enjoyed every cry, every scream... and the blood they spilled out! That's what you guys are fond of, right? Torment?" I chuckled, he snarled and punched my face, I grunt—then rudely spit blood at his face, he shut his eyes.

"That's enough, Liam." A familiar voice was heard somewhere around the feast. She stood up, it's her... She shoved Liam away as he wipes the blood off his face, it's her turn to talk, my chest pounded even more. She's wearing a black tank top, her head tilted as she stares at me and sighs, "What did you say? Yes, we like torment." She snaps her finger and saw two men approaching us, dragging a beaten up fox—it's Kieran! He's alive the whole time! They dropped him on the ground in front of me then walk away, everyone's watching.
