Louis was currently in Los Angeles, to do some interviews, and it was driving Harry crazy. The difference in the time zones made it difficult for the two men to talk to each other. But they made it work. Sometimes Harry would wake up in the middle of the night to call Louis, and sometimes it was the other way around.
It has been extra hard for Harry, this distance between the two, as the hate from the Louis' fans keeps getting to Harry. Sometimes he can't help but feel like they're actually true. Maybe they're telling the truth. Because, the truth hurts sometimes, right?
He hasn't talked to Louis about it, he doesn't really know how to approach the situation. It's hard to bring it up. But he knows he has to, so the next time he's talking to Louis he's going to talk about the hate he's been receiving.

Harry was washing dishes when his phone started vibrating in his back pocket. He sighed tiredly, not really being in the mood to talk to anyone. Even though he felt like shit, he took his phone out of his pocket, smiling a little when a picture of Louis appeared on the display.
He answered the face time call and was greeted by a smiling Louis. "Hi, darling! How are you?" The man exclaimed in excitement.
Harry shrugged and walked into his living room. Sophia was over at his mother's house, so he was all alone. "I'm okay..." Harry sighed, biting his lip, and sat down on his couch.
"Excuse me, mister, why are you not smiling?"
Harry could feel tears building already inside of his eyelids. "I just... there's so much hate, Lou," Harry sobbed, finally letting it all out.
"Baby, what are you talking about?" Louis questioned, he rarely spends time on social media and was deeply surprised by Harry's words.
"Everyone is hating! They're calling me f-fat, and ugly... am I ugly?" Harry cried, hating the fact that he was letting the words get to him.
Louis gasped in shock. "No, you're not ugly! You're the most beautiful person I've ever laid my eyes on, Harry. Your eyes are so beautiful, and so is your whole face. You're the cutest person, and your nose moves when you talk! How cute is that?!" He said truthfully, hoping that the words were making Harry feel better.
Harry sighed, looking anywhere except at Louis. "They're talking about Sophia as well..."
Harry could see that Louis was getting angry, and it was all his fault. "Are you fucking- I'm sorry, baby..." Louis apologized for tears in his eyes. Harry was sobbing, and he felt like he was nearing a panic attack. "That's it, I'm coming home."
"Please, Louis, you don't have to. It's only two more days, I can take it..." Harry promised, even though he felt like he would collapse any moment.
Louis sighed. "Are you sure?" When Harry nodded his head, he couldn't do anything worse than agree with Harry. "Okay, but if you ever change your mind I'll take the earliest flight home... I'm sorry, this is all my fault."
Harry knew that comment was coming sooner or later, but it wasn't Louis fault. It really wasn't. Some people were just raised the wrong way and didn't think twice before saying something online, behind a screen. "It's really not, please, don't blame yourself..."
Louis was never really the one to cry, especially in front of people, but Harry made him feel something different. He made him feel safe. Like he could do anything near his presence and he wouldn't be judged.
It was a special bond between the two, one that they had never experienced before. Just by looking at each other, even if it was through a screen, they both could feel their heart beating faster inside their chest.
And even though they had only known each other for a few weeks, it felt like they had known each other since birth. They felt safe and appreciated in a way that they had never felt before.
So when they hung up on the phone that afternoon, Harry couldn't help but whisper out a quiet 'I love you', only being heard by himself, in the white, basic looking living room.

NOTE: What do you think will happen next?
* I have just heard what Jordan Green (Louis' photographer) has done and I'm disgusting and so disappointed. I would never have expected that from him, and I hope he gets fired soon, not just by Louis', but by everyone else he photographs.
