The laughter from Louis and Sophia echoed around the house, as the blue-eyed man tried to catch Sophia. The little girl had to shower, but as usual, she had to pick up a fight."Oh my god! Soph, come on." Louis complained, panting heavily, "I'm not as fit anymore, you know." Sophia cackled at that and continued to run up the stairs.
Louis sighed and chuckled slightly, taking one last deep breath before rushing up the stairs, carefully throwing the girl over his sweaty shoulder. "I got you!"
Sophia giggled, but it soon died out as she realized she now had no choice but to shower. She whined against Louis shoulder, making Louis laugh loudly. "I don't want to."
Louis put her down and started walking towards the bathroom. Harry was taking a nap, as he had been feeling very tired lately. He's not sure he's had the change to sleep though, due to the loud noises the two of them just made. "If you shower, I'll give you a surprise tomorrow after school, alright?"
The little girl gasped in excitement at that, "Promise?" She held out her tiny little finger, waiting for Louis to wrap his bigger one around hers.
"I promise." The man said, who only just now realized that he would probably have to shower as well as he was feeling incredibly sweaty. "Bath or shower?"
"Bath!" Sophia exclaimed, a big smile on her face. The world sounded quite funny coming out of her mouth, as she couldn't properly say the word, "Daddy never lets me bath anymore." She pouted sadly, as she started looking for her bath bombs she got as her birthday present from Anne.
"That's because he's very tired, love," Louis told her, not wanting her to have a bad picture of Harry. "The bath bombs are in that cabinet." He said, pointing to a white cabinet over the sink.
"'Fank you." She mumbled, trying to reach the bath bombs. Louis chuckled, and came up behind her and lifted her up so she could take them down.
"Which one are you gonna use?" Louis asked, he genuinely didn't understand the point of bath bombs. Why not just use regular soap in your bath?
Sophia smiled, and picked out a blue one, "It has a toy in it." She explained to Louis, taking the plastic off, "Almost like your eyes, Lou."
Louis smiled at her, god, this child is adorable, "Yeah, that's true, baby." The nickname came naturally to him, he couldn't help it. When he first had called her that, he panicked and apologized to Harry for overstepping boundaries. The morning after, Harry had explained to him that the little girl went to sleep with a big smile on her face because of the nickname Louis had given her.
His thinking was interrupted when Sophia started talking again. "Can you bath with me?" She begged, looking up at him with her green eyes, identical to Harry's. "Please," She dragged out the E at the end of the word, pouting up at him cutely.
"Of course, now how about we undress you, and then you can put the bath bomb in?"

The two of them had sat in the bathtub for two hours, just playing and laughing with each other. Louis really appreciated those two hours, as he really got to know the girl better.
Harry was still sound asleep, so after they both got dressed after their bath, they cuddled up together in that bed. It was the best sleep Louis had ever had.
