Sorry it's been a while since I updated, hopefully this is the last part but I have got a pretty big idea on how to end this so it might have to end with a part 4.
Kristies POV.
We all filed out the car and I looked up to see an ordinary hill. I was guessing it must be half blood hill but I understood why it would go unnoticed by mortals like me. We walked up the hill but just as I tried to get over an invisible force whacked me back, sending me flying at least a couple metres.
I heard Annabeth sigh and mutter something along the lines of forgetting, barriers and mortals.
"I Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena grant Kristie, Natasha and Aaron Cold permission into camp half blood."
All of a sudden, it was like an invisible barrier had been lifted (which technically did happen) and a valley appeared below us. I gasped in awe, I had seen fan drawings of camp half blood and read all of the descriptions of the place but it just seemed even more amazing in real life. Loads of cabins stretched in a U shape in front of me and on one side of me I could see the strawberry fields. The Big House was directly ahead of me and it's blue walls looked like they had been repainted recently. I could see the lake on my other side and the amphitheatre with several demigods fighting dummies or eachother.
Some people were just milling around, laughing with friends, doing archery practice, climbing up the lava wall (it looked practically impossible, despite the books saying people scaled it easily).
I was so busy marvelling at the wonderful sight that I didn't notice when a horse catered up towards me and the big group of demigods.
"Chiron!" Annabeths voice pulled me out of my trance like state.
Looking to where Annabeth was smiling at, I noticed that this horse wasn't a horse, he was a centaur. And not just any centaur, it was Chiron, trainer of heroes and leader of CHB. I gasped," I've read so much about you!"
He chuckled,"a lot of people have." He gestured at me and my siblings and looked at the others,"demigods?"
"Maybe we should explain inside," he replied.
_______time skip brought by the Party Ponies and a lot (like A LOT) OF root beer_____
"So you're not demigods," Chiron said. I could sense that we were going to go through the same thing again.
"Unless one of my parents was secretly hiding the fact that they were a god, no," I said, sarcastically.
Luckily he didn't ask the same other questions but a look of realization grew upon his face. I heard him mutter,"that might just be it." Bit I don't think anyone else heard, I didn't know what he was talking about anyway.
He seemed to be pondering something but he finally decided,"all of you stay here, I need to . . . discuss something." And with no explanation, he left the room.
Time passed and I was getting bored, I could never really stay still and was always fiddling with watches and pipe cleaners and stuff, unless I was watching a movie but that's different. I started to think about what had happened as I walked from the hill to the Big House. Several Aphrodite girls had gasped at my hair and pointed at it but I was used to that. My hair was one of my only personality traits, that's how lame I am.
I had seen some girls in silver at the archery place, they must've been the hunters, they looked awesome in person. And very professional. They were probably here because Thalia was away and they couldn't really hunt when their lieutenant was gone.
I was just starting to think about the group of kids in the strawberry fields when Chiron burst back into the Big House with the last person I expected to see.
"Oh hey dad," I hadn't seen in a few days because he'd been on a business trip.
Percy gaped at me.
"What?" I said, I had lived with my mom and dad my whole life, my dad occasionally going off on a business trips for a few days or weeks. My mom sometimes going for meetings in New York or California.
The others bowed down to my dad, ok this was getting weird now, how did they know him?
As if answering my question, Chiron said,"I believe your dads name is not Elijah Cold, Kristie."
I raised an eyebrow,"what is your name then?"
My dad grinned and said one word that woukd change my life forever," Hephaestus."
Ok, I don't know if I should leave this on a cliffhanger or write a fourth chapter. I can give an explanation here though.
Hephaestus had decided to stay with his children to protect them because a prophecy is spoken some years before including hints about unborn children of Hephaestus. He didn't know about the prophecy when he had three kids and was worried about them so stayed with them to protect them. The occasional "business trips" were actually to Mount Olympus because she can't always be gone and he decides he'll wait till the time is right, to tell his children who he really is.
If you want me to write one last chapter on this then feel free to ask, I doubt anyone's reading this author's note but if you think the story is ok with an ending like the one I've done, 're free to tell me that too.
And lastly, DISCLAIMER I DO NOT OWN PJO (although that would be pretty cool) AND ALL OF THE CHARACTERS BELONG TO RICK RIORDAN (except for Kristie, Natasha and Aaron). 970 words.
