Love At First Bite

I put down the bowl of ice cream next to me.

Who could that be at 9 pm?

I wondered to myself, as I pushed my body off the bed to go downstairs.

I stood in front of the door, hesitant to open it at first. That is until my hand reached for the door knob and I opened the door.

"Dean?"

"Little sis!" He exclaimed, pulling me into a tight hug.

"Oh my god, it's been so long?" I replied, hugging him back, tighter.

He kissed my forehead and pulled away from the hug.

My brother Dean, was now 22 which made us 5 years apart. We were pretty close, but when he got older he decided to move to France, he said he got tired of being in the same place and decided to explore the world, but after being in a France for a bit. He fell in love and decided to move there. Dean comes over to visit us, often.

Dean has brown hair like my father, but he also has gray eyes like mine. Girls at my school would often find him very attractive. Ew. He hasn't found the "perfect" girl yet, is what he tells us whenever mom and dad ask if he has a girlfriend.

"Have you come to stay for a bit?" I asked, pointing at the suitcase he had with him.

"Yeah, only for 2 days though and then I'm off to Italy." He replied, grabbing his suitcase and walking inside.

I shut the door.

"Wow Italy, I would love to visit that place someday." I stated.

"Maybe I'll take you, one day." He said, smiling at me.

"Really? That would be awesome!" I squealed, in excitement.

He just laughed at me.

"Anyways, you hungry?" I questioned.

"Starving."

I grinned,

"We can order pizza." I told him.

"Yeah, okay. You order and I'll go take a shower." He said, and I just nodded as he walked upstairs.

Meanwhile, I ordered the pizza.

Dean was now passed out on the couch, we had been eating, talking and watching a movie for 3 hours.

I looked at the clock which read 12 am, I guess I should go to bed.

I sighed, heavily and got up. I grabbed a blanket and placed it over Dean.

After clearing up the mess, I walked upstairs into my bedroom.

Letting down my hair from my bun, so it wouldn't be as wild when I woke up. I quickly turned on my alarm, climbed into bed and turned off the table lamp. Making sure I put my phone to charge before I fell asleep.

I had been asleep for a few hours, until I heard a noise. A noise that came from, near my door.

Slowly, I sat up. Trying to adjust my eyes to the darkness.

I could make out that there was a figure, standing there in the shadows, watching me.

"Dean, is that you?" I questioned, rubbing my eyes.

"No, love. Go back to sleep." A very familiar voice, answered.

That voice. It's so familiar, where have I heard it before?

That's when it hit me.

"Alexander? What are you doing here?"

"I was bored, now go back to sleep." He responded.

"I can't sleep."

"Why?" He asked.

"I don't know." I replied.

"I'll lay with you for a bit." He said, walking towards me.

Before I could say anything, he was already laying next to me.

He grabbed me, adjusting my position so that my head was on his stomach. While also placing his arms around me, protectively.

"Am I dreaming?" I asked, shutting my eyes.

"I'm not sure, are you?"

"It feels so real, but you don't know where I live. Why am I even dreaming about you?"

"Only you know the answer, sweetheart." He replied.

I opened my eyes, and looked down at his hands.

They were quite large, but that's not what caught my eye. What did catch my eyes, were the rings he wore, one in particular, that sat on thumb. It was jet black, but in the middle was an emerald green line. It was gorgeous, even in the darkness I could see the light, which radiated from the ring.

I closed my eyes again, feeling him drawing circles on my arm with his thumb.

His touch was cold, yet warm at the same time. It calmed me.

It was so calming, that I wound up falling asleep.

Holaaaa, omg yes chapter 4!
Anywaysss I would like to give out some shoutouts! To the people who have read my book and enjoyed it!
Before I say who those people are, I would just like to say, I love you guys so much, I literally cannot believe so many people would actually enjoy something that I did!
