Alexander's POV

I opened the door entering my house.

Tired of being at school, around people, around Savannah.

I can't control myself, around her, or anybody.

"Good evening, Alexander." Someone greeted.

"What have you done now, Jackson." I questioned him.

"Oh you know the usual, watched TV, killed some people, ate, took a shower..." he rambled, playing with the remote control.

"Wait, killed people? Are you kidding me Jackson?! The whole point of us moving is so we wouldn't do that anymore!" I growled, grabbing him by the neck and lifting him up.

"Fucking let go of me Alex." He pleaded, pushing my hand.

I dropped and he landed with a thump.

"You know very well why." He spoke, grabbing his neck. He looked up at me, " It's who we are, whether you like it or not. You think this I chose this? No, so get over it, because sooner or later, you'll do the exact same. There's only so much we can take before we burst, and kill." He said, getting up and walking out of the house, slamming the door on his way out.

Fucks sake.

The thing is,

He is absolutely right, we can only take so much.

But eventually animals won't be able to satisfy our need to hunt.

That's why I can't let Savannah get close to me, she'll end up getting hurt or worse...

Savannah's POV

"Savannah are you listening to me?!" My mom shouted, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I questioned.

"What has gotten into today?"

"Nothing, I'm sorry I wasn't listening. Could you please repeat?" I asked, giving her my full attention.

"I said, can you take care of the dishes tonight. Your dad and I are going out." She said.

"Yeah, I can take care of the dishes." I replied.

"Thank you, by the way your brother is leaving tomorrow." She told me.

"I know, I'll miss him. Even thought he's a pain in the ass." I giggled.

"Mind your language, young lady!" I heard dad say, from inside the living room.

"Sorry dad!" I answered back, "well anyways, I'm going to have a shower." I added, going upstairs.

I entered the bathroom, after marking sure the water was a decent temperature, I got in the shower.

Sighing as the warm water, relaxed my tense muscles.

Today school was weird.

Alexander avoided me the whole day, why you may ask, well I wish I knew the answer but unfortunately I do not.

Is he forgetting that we have a project to do together?

Every time I look his way, he won't look back. I tried to talk to him but he ignored, walking the other way.

I know he's cold, but never like this.

He's just like other boys, I shouldn't have expected any different.

Although, in the back of my mind. I was still hoping we would be friends. I guess I was wrong.

Once I finished my shower, I got out. I headed to my bedroom to get changed into some comfortable clothes.

Much better.

Was my thought after getting changed.
