Disclaimer: slight homophobia ----------- While Y/n and I were walking to the cafeteria, everyone gave me weird looks for some reason, maybe it's cuz they saw a loser with one of the popular girls. What came as a shock to me even more is what happened right this second.
Y/n held my hand!!! Oh my god I can die in peace now,
Y/n: don't be scared, I know they're looking at us but just relax
All I could do was nod, I was in too much shock from what happened in first period and 5 minutes ago. --- While on our way for food, y/n explained what had happened in class, because I couldn't seem to remember. She told me that she told the nurse what happened and that jennie would get in serious trouble.
Y/n: come on let's get in line for food
She gestured with her hand to follow, and as Im following behind her I see that her backpack has a rainbow pin on it

My only 3 thoughts right now are, is she gay?? No.. Maybe she just likes rainbows, but if she likes rainbows why that pin?
I shook it off and we both started to choose our lunches. I was trying so hard not to get noticed as I was glancing at her from time to time. But I swear I saw y/n's eyes glance at me for a split second... Which made me blush even harder than ever! I bet I looked redder than a tomato!!!
We sat down at a small empty table outside and started eating, nothing was said for the first minute, but I decided to ask
Lisa: hey y/n?
Saying her name makes my heart flutter really hard. But I got her attention so that's good
Lisa: um when you took me to the nurse and had to explain everything, how did you know my name?
Mind you my head was down when I said that, because I'm too shy to make eye contact with her. She looked at me in confusion but then laughed almost choking on her food.
Y/n: you know we've been in the same elementary and middle school right? We were always in the same classes, except for this year in high school.
Lisa: o-oh right hahaha
So she's known of my existence??
Y/n: umm also, this might sound a bit straight forward considering that we just had a first conversation 10 minutes ago but i-
Y/n got cut off by a laughter from someone coming towards us... Jennie and her "friends".
Jennie: hahaha hahaha oh my god why are you sitting next to the dyke?
There was a sharp stab in my heart when she said that.. She was referring to me.
Lisa: I- uhh I should go-
I was on the verge of tears and was about to leave the table but y/n stopped me.
Y/n: wait I'm confused who are you talking to?
Y/n had a smirk on her face and jennie's turned into shock. I was shocked too.
Jennie: what are you talking about y/n?! I'm talking to that bitch sitting across from-
Y/n: then you should have used our names instead bitch or dyke, because I'm confused which of us you're calling a dyke.
She still had a smirk on her face, looking at jennie with confidence and no fear in her eyes. I was shocked but also confused. Is she gay too??
Jennie, standing and at loss of words tried to come up with something.
Jennie: y/n you're a sinner!
Y/n: jennie, you're the sinner here, you chose to go whoring around, but love isn't a sin... So go back to your boyfriend over there-
She pointed to a random guy at another table
Y/n: oh wait, maybe it's that one, or that one. I don't really know they all look the same
She laughed making jennie scoff in frustration and about to stomp away, she did something different. She grabbed our lunch trays with food still on them and made it look like we threw them on her.
With a smirk on her face then turned into a face a toddler makes when their about to start up a tantrum.
Jennie: AAAAAHHHHHHHHH *fake cries* oh my god miss!!! These 2 hooligans threw their lunch at me and now I have food on my gucci jacket!!!
Two teachers came up, one of them escorted jennie into the the cafeteria with her friends and the other teacher said that we have detention for 2 hours after school in the library.
I've never gotten detention before, but I wasn't really shocked about what jennie did, she gets away with stuff like that. What really shocked me was how y/n stood up to jennie, and I was confused too about what she meant when she said "I'm confused which one of us you're calling a dyke". So does that mean she is gay too??
The bell rang and y/n and I say bye to each other and went separately to our classrooms.
I wonder what detention will be like...
