Telling "dad"

"How are you going to tell him?" Ellie politely asked. Jack said "I don't really know. How'd you tell Nick when you were pregnant with Scarlett?" "Well we had been trying for a few months so we actually took the test together on our bathroom floor" "oh well that's not much help" Jack said with a caring smile. "Nope I guess it isn't sorry" Ellie said genuinely. Just then Ellie got a call about a body on a Naval base just outside of Maryland.

That night when Gibbs got home jack was sleeping soundly surrounded by case files and hot chocolate on the couch. Gibbs gently woke her up with light kisses on her face and playing with her hair.
"Hey hon just wanted to let ya know I'm home" he lighted kissed her lips.
"Mmm, I missed you" she said softly. She took a deep breath and said "Jethro we need to talk"

"Pregnant?! You serious?" He shouted.
She quietly said "yes I'm so sorry" and with that she started softly crying.
"What? Hon I'm not mad! I'm excited if your excited" she looked up wiping the tears "wait what?"
"Babe I love you and couldn't be more happy or terrified, ya know I haven't done the whole baby thing in a really long time. I'll be rusty but... ready!" He told her encouragingly. She smiled and captured his lips and hugged him with a warm embrace.

"Who knows?" He asked her while they were lying in bed the next morning.
"you and Ellie. She uh found me sobbing on the bathroom floor". He smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "I love you hon"
"And I love you right back cowboy"
He then leaned down and lifted jacks shirt a bit, kissing her stomach he said "and obviously I already love you too and so does your mom."
With tears in her eyes and her in his arms, and her in his T-shirt, they both drifted back to sleep.
