01: "𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚"

[ᴀ ʀᴏʏᴀʟᴛʏ ᴀᴜ]

A small smile graced her facial features as she attended a party held by her household, she walked around not taking notice of anything in her sight. She greeted people occasionally and they greeted back with a small smile, she clenched her gloved fist tightly as she tried to walk in the crowd.

It was filled with many strangers who wore royal swallowtail suits, filled with different monotone colours. She wanted to go back to her chambers and sleep, her feet aching beneath the black heels from standing for too long. She groaned as she walked around trying to find her sisters that abandoned her halfway so they could escape greeting duties.

She saw many different people and greeted many of them using the same excuse to help her sisters. Momoko was 2 years older than her and she just reached her age of marriage and many princes wanted her hand in marriage but none of them has caught her eye so far.

She sighed loudly as she found the familiar tuft of curly coffee brown hair standing at the centre of attraction. She shook her head with a smile and pushed past the many people crowding around her.

It was there she saw him.

His eyes were the shade of cinnamon brown. His dyed blonde hair was slicked back with the small little strands of baby hair sticking out and he clearly had an undercut.

I was surprised, I have never seen a prince get an undercut before and still dye his hair.

He was looking elsewhere, as my heart thudded in my chest loudly reminding me of my feelings towards him. I grabbed my sister's arm and pointed at the guy standing there fighting with one of his friends,

"He's mine..."

Momoko stared at the guy and gave a small smile, she walked up to him and looped her arm in his I groaned as I facepalmed myself. What is she doing? I'm screwed, she thought, as she stared at them she saw his eyes travelling from her teal eyes to mines. His eyes widened and at that moment their eyes locked.

"(y/n) Itoku," I bowed

"This is my sister," the red on his cheeks did not get unnoticed by the girl standing in front of him. She bowed to him and he bowed back with a small smile drawn on his cheek, his suit had a small fox clip on his side pocket and he noticed her teal eyes staring at it.

He chuckled as she gave him a smile as Momoko walked away waving her hand behind her. "Miya Atsumu," he took her hand kissed her hand gently as she turned red, he gave her a playful smirk and walked off into the crowd.

She stared at his disappearing figure as he left the lounge and in her clenched hand was a small note.

"Write to me!" was written on the paper and she smiled before walking back into her chambers.

-A week later-

She stuck out her tongue as she read out the letters written to her by Atsumu, her pen in a hand and a piece of blank paper on the wooden table with a small candle lighting up her desk.

She quickly scribbled words onto the parchment as her sister, Momoko, stood outside leaning against the doorframe.

"I want to form a harem..." Momoko said as she glanced at her sister's form.

"I'm just saying but if you truly love me, you would share him," she said with a playful smile.

(Y/n) turned her head behind her and said aloud, "Hah!" in response with a frown on her face.

- 2 weeks later-

We sat in the living room, the air was so tense that you could cut it with a knife. (y/n) fiddled with her fingers as she watched her stone-faced father watch the man before him as Atsumu asked for his blessing

He didn't say anything and she walked to the dining room in silence. (y/n) felt crushing anxiety creeping up from behind her as she walked beside her father and Atsumu who only stared at (y/n) awkwardly while silently calling for help. She flashed him a small smile and he smiled back before they reached the dining room.

They sat on the chairs as the food got served to them, she shakily picked up her utensil and ate, she could feel herself dying on the inside as the both of them ate dinner and drank the wine served in the wine glass.

She stared at Atsumu's awkward movements as he held the wine glass and drank from it awkwardly as his eyes looked at her's in fear.

The sound of the chair legs dragging against the floor was heard and she stared nervously at her father who got up from his seat and is walking towards Atsumu. He froze and (y/n) stared in fear trying not to cry as she prayed silently to not be through after all of this.

He shook Atsumu's hand, grasping his big hands onto his slightly smaller and gave him a gentle smile, "Take care of her..."

Atsumu looked at her, the smile on his face was large and she smiled back and ran towards hi outstretched arm and embraced him. She giggled a little and pecked Atsumu lightly on the lips, his eyes widened and a small smile appeared and he pecked back.

"Look (y/n)...

I don't have money, nor land nor fame nor an army. All I have is my honour and my tolerance of pain. I have a few college credits and a top-notch brain," he laughed slightly as he counted all the things he had with his finger.

(y/n) laughed and he continued, "I have only depended on my twin brother since we were young, we lost our parents. You have quite the interesting family though," (y/n) stared in confusion as Atsumu continued his speech, "Haru confides in me and... Momoko tried to get a bite out of me..."

She laughed at him as he soon followed her suit, laughing along heartily with her.

He stared into her eyes and sighed happily as he held her by the waist, "My life gon' be fine 'cause (y/n)'s in it," he mumbled softly.

ᴀ ꜰᴇᴡ ʏᴇᴀʀꜱ ʟᴀᴛᴇʀ,

A toast to the groom!

To the groom! To the groom! To the groom!

They stood around in tables as they raised their glasses with champagne up into the sky with Momoko leading the cheer.

To the bride!

To the bride! To the bride! To the bride!

(y/n) stood beside Atsumu as her sister sang out loudly as a smile was etched on her face.

From your sister

Momoko!Momoko!Momoko!

Who is always by your side!
By your side!
By your side!

Momoko looked sadly at Atsumu and she turned back to the crowd her brain screaming at her

"𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬... 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝."

Atsumu stole a last glance at her as he was going back and Momoko clenched her fists tightly as she saw the look on his face.

"𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅"
