Chapter 15: Parting

-December 1, 2020: Daylight's and Darknight's 1st year-

/Yongsook's POV/

It's been a month since Yuri was hospitalized. She became quiet because of the trauma she went through that day. We would always talk to her, trying to get her to speak even just a word or a simple sentence but all she would do is nod her head to our questions

"Yuri-ah, please talk to us" Jinho begged but Yuri just look at him blankly

"Is my daughter here?" Someone asked from the door... Yuri's mom...

"Tita? What are you doing here?" Jinho asked, standing up

"Oh, Yuri didn't tell you yet? She's coming home now" Yuri's mom said

"Are you ready, sweetie?" Yuri's mom asked to which Yuri nodded her head, standing up and picking up her bag

Wait...bag?!

"Riri-ah, what's going on?" I asked, baffled

"I'm sorry Twilight... but I'm leaving the group now... the accident traumatized me to the point that I don't even think I can still be an idol and freely roam around" Yuri said, hanging her head low

"Thank you for the memories... goodbye" Yuri said, throwing a sad smile before walking out the door

"Yuri-ah, wait!" Jinho called, running towards her

Jinho hugged her tightly, tears streaming down both of their faces

"Promise you'll still visit us once in a while?" Jinho asked

"Promise..." Yuri stated quietly

Jinho kissed her forehead before hesitantly letting her go

"We'll miss you, Yuri-ah..." We said together

"I'll miss you too... Twilight..." Yuri said as she entered her mom's car, driving off

-Time Skip: December 20, 2020-

"Are you sure this is your final decision, kids?" Yoonmi eonnie asked

"Yes, we are" Haeri eonnie answered for all of us

"We just can't see Twilight performing on stage without Minsu and Yuri" Jaehyun oppa said

"Okay then, I'll tell this to the CEO. You may go now" Sanghun hyung said

"Let's go back to the dorms, guys" Haeri eonnie suggested as we all stood up and followed her out

Once we arrived back, all of our phones dinged, indicating that we got notification. I opened my phone and clicked it

[Breaking News!]

[The CEO of YinYang Entertainment released a statement regarding its group, Twilight]

Twilight has been inactive since their first year anniversary. Eclipses said they, Twilight, has been going through a few problems here and there, which became a reason for their sudden hiatus. Here is the CEO's statement:

{All of the Twilight members agreed on disbanding the group. They talked about their decisions together before telling it to their managers who then relayed the message to me. They reasoned that "They can't see Twilight performing on stage without Minsu (Lucky), who left the group a few months back, and Yuri (Mira), who also departed from the group a few days ago. We respected the kids' decisions thus formally announcing that Twilight has indeed disbanded as of today}

I wonder how Eclipses are feeling after this sudden disbandment. Twilight has been a rookie monster when they debuted, taking home more than 3 awards even before a year of their debut.

~I kind of expected this already... they've been through so much, I'm scared that they'll get depressed if they go on more

I turned off my phone and place it on my pocket

"I'm guessing all of us read that already?" Subin said

"Yeah..." We all muttered

"Kids?" Someone called from the door

"Noona, Hyung..." Minseok muttered as we all faced them

"We'll be taking you all to your respective homes tomorrow so sleep early" Sanghun hyung said

"Okay, oppa/ hyung" We said, going back to our respective rooms

It's official now...Twilight has disbanded... and we're parting ways...

Ending 1 is now officially done! I'm sorry for making it like this but it is based on Lucky's nightmare from my WMAS book.
