Chapter 14: Broken

/Haeri's POV/

"When are you going to realize that he isn't coming back, Minseok?!" A voice shouted

"Because he promised he'll never leave Twilight, Riri!" Minseok shouted back

"Well, jokes on you because he just broke that promise once he went out that door!" Yuri shouted

"No he didn't. Minsu hyung is going to come back! I'll prove it to you!" Minseok shouted

"Oh yeah? Go on, prove your useless word!" Yuri shouted, smirking

"Seok-ie, Riri, stop fighting!" I scolded, breaking off their argument

"Tsk..." Yuri muttered, rolling her eyes

"I'm going outside" Yuri said, leaving the dorm

"Jinho-yah, please follow Yuri and make sure she's safe" I said

"Sure, noona" Jinho said, following Yuri outside

"Haeri noona... is what Yuri saying true? That Minsu hyung isn't coming back to us anymore?" Minseok asked

"I'm sorry, Minseok-ah..." I trailed off, embracing him

"So it is true..." Minseok trailed off before breaking into tears

"Hush, Seok-ie. Everything will be okay..." I cooed, caressing his head

"W-we promised e-each other that w-we'll stay strong t-together but w-why did M-Minsu hyung b-broke that p-promise, noona?" Minseok stuttered out, still sobbing

"Minseok-ie?" I looked up to see Yingyue

"N-noona..." Minseok mumbled

"Why are you crying, Seok-ah?" Yingyue asked, walking closer to us

"Minsu hyung already left us, noona" Minseok said

"Eh? But he said he's going back to his family for the meantime right?" Yingyue asked before realization hit her

"Oh..." Yingyue muttered

"He left us to protect Twilight... but is Minsu hyung really sure that the kidnappers won't attack us even after he left?" Daehyun asked, walking down the stairs

His question got all of us thinking... will the kidnappers really not bother us anymore after Minsu left?

"I mean, it's been a month since he departed and nothing has happened yet" I said

"Yet..." I thought before my phone rang

"Hello?" I asked

"Eomma, I lost Yuri!" Jinho shouted into the phone

"What?!" I shouted

"What do you mean you lost her?" I asked

"I was just following her then she turned a corner and when I arrive there, she's nowhere to be seen, noona" Jinho said, trying to stay calm

"We'll be there in a few, stay where you are" I ordered, hanging up the call

"What happened?" Jaehyun asked

"Yuri's missing" I said

"Then let's go and find her!" Yongsook said

-Time Skip-

"Jinho-yah!" I shouted, running to him

"Noona..." Jinho called

"We should split up so it's easier to find Yuri" Daehyun said

"Okay..." We all said, splitting into pairs

"Yuri-ah! Where are you?!" I shouted, looking around before we walked past an alleyway

"Wait, Jaehyun, let's look there" I said, pointing to the alleyway we walked past

"Stay here, I'll see for myself" Jaehyun said, as he entered the dark place

/Jaehyun's POV/

"Yuri-ah?" I called, squinting my eyes to try and see through the dark

"H-help m-me..." A quiet voice muttered, alarming me

"Riri?!" I shouted, running to the voice

"J-Jaehyun...oppa..." Yuri muttered before her body went limp

"Yuri!" I shouted, taking her body and carrying her out the dark alleyway bridal style

"Jaehyun- Oh no, Yuri!" Haeri gasped as I arrive out

"Let's take her to the hospital quickly!" I said, as we ran to the nearest hospital

"Please be safe, Yuri-ah..." I thought
