Chapter 5: Twilight's debut

-August 1, 2019-

/Jaehyun's POV/

After a year and a few months, we are finally making our long awaited debut. Haeri ended up as Twilight's leader and main vocal and I ended up being their vice leader and main dancer. Lila became our main rapper and the others became the lead dancers, lead vocals and lead rappers. Until now, there is still no leaders for the sub-groups as we focused on Twilight first

"Twilight, please standby" A staff said as we were checking our mic's and other things if they are working properly

"Okay this is it, our long awaited debut that we have been preparing for more than a year. I know you are nervous, I am too but I believe that we can do this" Haeri said

"Act as if this is our first and last performance and let's rock the stage!" I exclaimed

"2, 3. Twilight!" Haeri started

"Fighting!" We cheered together

"Twilight, please come up stage" The same staff from before said

Our debut song (^video above^) started playing and we started dancing to the beat. Minseok started off the song and Yuri rapped her part after. Yingyue sang her part after Minsu's rap and it went on. Subin rapped her part while Haeri ended the song with a high note just before the dance break which will consist of Junho, Yongsook, Hajoon, Jinho, Daehyun, and I.

We were all panting hard once the music stops, cheers of the people watching was everything we heard except for the constant deep breaths we take to normalize our breathing.

"Thank you for your hard work" Haeri said, bowing as we all followed suit

"You did a great job there, Twilight" Manager Hyung said as we went backstage

"Thank you, Sanghun hyung" I said

"Here's your water bottles, kids" Manager Noona said, handing it out

"Thank you, Yoonmi eonnie" Yingyue said

"Twilight, please come up on stage again and introduce yourselves to your new fans" The emcee said

"Let's go" Subin said

We went back up stage, still sweating and some of us are even carrying the water bottles.

"2, 3!" Haeri counted

"The sun is falling, Twilight! Hello, we are Twilight!" We greeted and bowed in unison

"Hello, I am Lily, Twilight's leader" Haeri started

"Hi, I am Jay, Twilight's vice leader" I waved

"I'm Twilight's Ace!" Junho bowed

"I am Ali!" Yongsook said

"Lila at your service!" Lila slightly screamed

"Hi everyone, I'm Missy" Yingyue bowed

"I'm Halyu!" Hajoon said

"I'm Twilight's Lucky" Minsu said

"I am Twilight's Joker" Jinho said

"Hi guys, I'm Jake" Daehyun stated

"Hello, I am Twilight's female maknae, Mira!" Yuri introduced

"Hello, I am Twilight's male maknae, Hiro!" Minseok exclaimed

"And together we make Twilight!" We all exclaimed

"Thank you for your hard work, Twilight" The emcee said

"Thank you as well" We bowed back and went our way to the backstage

"We did it!" Yuri cheered

"I was so nervous I thought I'll pass out" Yongsook said

"Where to next, noona?" I asked, walking closer to Haeri

"Our next stage..." Haeri said

"M Countdown..." Haeri and I whispered at the same time, making fierce eye contact with each other

I went with Kick it since almost none of you decided to choose your debut song. Only two appliers answered my question.

Now, if you still won't participate in deciding for Daylight's and Darknight's debut songs when I ask you to choose, I might reconsider with finishing the book. Sure, my drafts is already up to the 11th chapter but I don't care, considering you might also don't care about being active here
