Chapter 10: Achievements

-June 21, 2020-

/Minseok's POV/

We are at an award show as we were one of the groups nominated for Rookie of the Year. Along us are TXT, ATEEZ, ONEUS and more...

We were nervous as we don't have a large fan base like them, but we believe Eclipses, Suns and Moons would be there to support us.

"Yingyue noona, do you think we'll win an award?" I asked as she is sitting next to me

"I don't really know, Seok-ie" Yingyue noona said

"I mean, we're going against big rookie groups for the Rookie of the Year award" Yingyue noona added

"Is that really the only award we're nominated in, Haeri noona?" I asked

"No... we still have Best New Male Group and Best New Female Group because we're co-ed, Rookie of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year" Haeri noona enumerated

"That's a lot..." I muttered

"It is, so don't worry if we don't get the ROTY" Haeri noona said, ruffling my hair

"Noona, you'll ruin my hairstyle~" I whined, trying to fix it again

A staff suddenly went to us, asking something to Jaehyun hyung

"Oh, Twilight, let's get changed into our performance clothes" Jaehyun hyung said

"It's already time?" I asked

"Yep, we'll perform after ONEUS and Twice seniors" Jaehyun hyung said

"Let's go then" Haeri noona said as we all followed the staff

Once we changed our clothes to our performance ones, we all went backstage so we can put our mics on and rehearse a bit.

We were watching Twice seniors from the backstage when a staff approached

"You're Twilight, right?" The staff said

"Yes" Haeri noona answered shortly as she adjusts her mic away from her mouth

"Please standby, you're next" The staff said

We all adjusted our mics away from our mouths first as we heard the song slowly comes to a finish

"Okay, I know you're all nervous but this isn't our first time performing in front of a crowd, sure it is larger than we're used to but we can do this. I believe in us" Haeri noona said

"We'll do our best and show them who really deserves the Rookie of the Year award. 2, 3, Twilight!" Jaehyun hyung started

"Fighting!" We all exclaimed

"Twilight, please go up and get ready now" The staff said

We adjusted our mics again and breathed out

"This is it, our big dream is finally in front of us" I thought, walking up the dimly lit stage

Our debut song started and we performed to it as if it's our last stage but it only played until the first half before Daylight's song started playing then Darknight's song then Twilight's debut song continued from where it stopped.

We decided to remix our songs and put it together so all 3 debut songs can be performed at once. Luckily, we didn't make mistakes like we usually did at practices since we get confused with the song arrangement at times.

-Time Skip-

It was finally time for the winners of the awards to be shown, and everyone in the area is anticipating it. Yuri and Jinho hyung became substitute emcees so they'll be the one announcing.

"And now we'll be announcing the anticipated Rookie of the Year Award" Yuri started

"Jinho-ssi, please do the honors" Yuri said

"Sure, Yuri-ssi. The winner for the Rookie of the Year award is..." Jinho hyung trailed off, adding more tension to the whole area

"Twilight!" Jinho hyung announced and everyone cheered in both shocked and happiness

"Congratulations to you, Twilight!" Yuri said as we went up the stage they're in

"Uh, we want to take everyone who supported us. To our Eclipses, thank you for voting us and loving us, to our company who made our songs and to our managers who took care of us and never left our sides. To our parents who supported our dreams even if that means not seeing us. Thank you very much, this award is for you all!" Haeri noona said

"2, 3. The sun is falling, Twilight! Thank you~" We bowed in unison and left the stage, leaving Yuri and Jinho hyung again

The award show ended after a few more awards and we got 3 awards in total. Best New Male and Female group then the ROTY award. Everyone was happy and we celebrated our achievements.
