Detective Dick 2: The journey begins

Segment 11 -: Chapter 21 & 22

   
       Chapter 21 -: The comeback.

   A portal opens up in an area surrounded by lycanthropes, the Lycanthropes were the same ones who had previously fought in the war against the priest.  Alma was the first to come out of the portal, then her daughter, followed by Alucard, Daniel, and Redoulp.  After a short while, Tommy comes out, he was dragging a sorrowful-looking Dick behind him.
Everyone wore a weary face but Dick had it the worst, it was the time first time anyone had seen Dick like this even Tommy who had known him for almost fifteen years, they had been friends since age ten.

"Look, Dickie, I am sorry for what happened to Sarah but crying won't solve a thing, we need to stop Azexela before she wrecks more havoc,"  Tommy pats his friend gently on his shoulder, Dick didn't reply, he still had his crestfallen face, Tommy heaved a sigh of weariness, he had been friends with Sarah too, seeing her die like that also bothered him.  He felt depressed but he kept his calm by constantly telling himself he had to defeat Azexela, until then, there was no time for mourning.
"Is Sarah gone?" Kari asks with a worried face, the sad look on everyone's face was the answer she was looking for.
"Redoulp, what do we do?" Alucard asks, his tired eyes stared at the dwarf intently, the elven girl was wrapped in the arms of her mother, the two women appeared to be in tears.
Redoulp had a sad look on his face too.  "I had a vision that this would happen to Kilo and Sarah, I didn't know it would be this soon, I should have done something!"  Redoulp voices aloud, his face full of regret, and pain.

About thirty lycanthropes were in the room, they each appeared worried, even Kira who always had a smile on had a worried look on her face.
Everyone loved Sarah, Sarah was a virtuous woman who did all she could to help.  During the last four months,  while everyone went in teams to fight the last of Larias' minions, Sarah was always available to help, those who were emotionally unbalanced had Sarah to uplift their spirits.  The Lycanpride leader, Katharina or Kilo as they all called her had first gone,  then Sarah, and the enemy seemed impossible to beat.

"KRAK!!, KRAK!!!"

"Ron, this is a serious moment, we can all hear you farting," Mira says, she shot a mean look at Ron.

"That's not me," Ron says, his face turned bright-red.   The roof above them falls off.   Out of it fell Rudy, he had a red glint in his eyes, as soon as he land on the ground, many Azexelan spawns follow.   Everyone put tense faces on, they had to find a way to repel the creatures.  Rudy sees Dick lounging on the ground in misery, he dashes towards him, as he was about to land a punch on him, his fist was stopped by Tommy.

"Hey Rudy, ain't you supposed to be in jail?" Tommy ends as he counterattacks by landing a punch on Rudy's gut, Rudy staggers backward, he vomits blood on the floor.

"Look, Dick ain't feeling too good, why don't you and your boyfriends leave, then check back another time,"  Tommy says as lightly as he could, Rudy stretches himself to his full height, he wipes his mouth with his left hand, he now had a devilish grin on his face.   He dashes towards Tommy, the ground beneath them cracks as Tommy repels the threat.  The Azexelan spawns which had arrived were slaughtering the Lycanthropes, they kept dropping from the hole in the roof, many dead bodies were on the floor, blood was splattered everywhere.

"Let him come to me," Dick says, he was trying to his feet even though he felt fatigued.
Tommy stares at his friend for a while, he was certainly not fit enough to take on Rudy as he had lost his abilities and was emotionally unbalanced but he knew Dick, he had a plan.  Rudy leaps at Tommy but he evades to the left to avoid the collision.
"He is all yours," Tommy sighs in  Rudy's direction.  Rudy walked towards Dick, he had a smirk on his face, he was finally gonna get his revenge against Dick, as he saw Dick standing there facing him, it reminded him of the time he was in high school, he was the coolest and most popular kid in school.  He was a soccer player, he had a thing going with the queen of the cheerleaders, Ellie, she was considered the hottest girl in school.  Dick then came in, embarrassed him in front of the whole school, literally dumping shit on him in front of everyone, had the guts to sleep with Ellie and he took it one step further, he sent him the pictures, and as if that was not enough, Dick had him busted severally when he was a cop, it got to a point that he had stopped counting the number of times Dick was busting him as it was too much.
Now the tables have turned, he was finally gonna have his awaited revenge.  He stops remembering as he approaches the detective, he lifts him inches above the ground, he had a smirk on his face.
