NADINE's POV
"Nadine...Listen to your father just for now" Mom pleaded
"Mom, I already told you, I don't want to"
She hugged me "If only you can still remember" she whispers
"What did you say Mom?"
"Look honey, listen to your Dad. Go and talk to him, he's in his office" she said
"Okay Mom.."
At pumunta ako sa office ni Dad dito sa bahay namin. Are you wondering if what is happening? They are forcing me to hold a company here in Philippines at ayaw ko.
"Justin, why are you here?" I asked my younger brother.
"Ate, I want to play" he said and pouted
I cupped his face.
"Not now Justin okay? Dad wants to talk to me. Maybe later?"
"Okay" then he went to Mom's direction
*Knock *Knock
"Dad?"
"Nadine, come in"
Dad is so strict. One word is enough already. And everything he said must be put in order.
"Sit."
At umupo ako bigla.
"Nadine.. It's good that you chose to hold a company and.... Just sign up this contract--"
"Dad.. That's not why I went here. I still don't want to"
"Nadine don't be such a hard-headed. You know that we're doing this to you. At para Hindi mo maisip na wala kang makukuha from us."
"But Dad, I can have it but I don't want to run it.. What if I am not yet ready?"
"Nadine, please?"
I really don't want to..
"Dad.. Just for this."

At umiling ako.
"In one condition?"
"What is it Dad?"
"Choose. Run the company or find a work? "
"But Dad---"
"No buts Nadine. You've made a choice so I bet you'll choose the second option"
Run the company?
Find a work?
Eh sakit sa ulo ang dalawa eh.
"Hindi ko idi-discharge ang lahat ng accounts mo if you will find a work that you can be able to learn"
I have no other choice.
"I want you to work in Manila. It's your choice if Kelan ka aalis at kung isasama mo ba si Justin."
Ayaw ni Justin na mawala ako sa tabi niya. Nasanay na kasi siya sa akin. Hindi ko rin naman siya pwedeng dalhin kasi Nandito sina Dad and dito sa Cebu kasi kami nakatira.
"Dad..Why there? Bakit Hindi dito?"
"I want you to be independent and want you to socialize with others"
"So does it mean..?"
"Yes. No Yayas or Guards. But don't worry, I will tell my Friend who owns condominium to have a one unit and buy you a car" then he dialed his phone
"But Dad--"
"Nadine.. I told you.. No more buts"
Then he started to talk to his friend about it na at ako naman napaisip kung dadalhin ko si Justin. Hay nako.
