"We should get the group together tonight for movie night." You told Ryan during your lunch break.
"I think Sara and Shane should be open." He smiled.
"Shane!" You called, waving for him to come over to you and Ryan.
"What's up guys?" He asked with a smile.
"We were thinking of getting together with the group tonight and watch movies." You noticed as Shane's eyes lit up a little.
"Sure I'm down."
"Down for what?" Sara said joining the little group conversation.
"Were getting together for a movie night tonight, want to join?" She smiled.
"Sure, y/n's place as usual right?" You nodded. All of you went to your houses to get ready for movie night. You: setting our drinks and food, Shane: grabbing multiple movies, Ryan: blankets galore, and Sara: all the pillows you will ever need. You waited around on your phone until the other people arrived. Sara being first, Ryan being second, and Shane, of course, being last. Everyone settled in their normal spots while you started the movie. a classic movie is what Shane brought, The Outsiders.
"Let's get settled, make sure we can reach everything, and start this movie." You said sitting down. You were on the edge to the left, Shane is sat right of you, Sara next to him, and Ryan next to her. A little past the halfway mark of the movie you snuggled up to the side of the couch only to fall asleep. You woke up the next day sprawled in your bed and no one to be seen. Stepping out of bed you made your way to the main area. The living room was a disaster, but one thing stuck out. You walked up to the object and inspected it. "What's this? A hoodie? No, Shane."
You set down the hoodie and walked into the kitchen to see a note on the counter. You picked out the note and moved it to the other side of the counter. Opening the fridge and grabbing the water pitcher you started to read the note to yourself. It was from Shane and Ryan.
Dear Y/n, we completely forgot that we were going on a trip for a month. Our flight was early this morning--by time you see this anyways. Just so you're not confused, I took you to your bed last night and Ryan and I took Sara home before going to our own places. See you in a month. -Shane and Ryan
With your glass of water, you walked back into the living room disappointed and sad. The only you liked about your job at this point, was Shane. His stories, his rambling, and just him, his vibe. Disappointed that he didn't mention he was leaving. You grabbed Shane's hoodie and put it on, not realizing you wouldn't take it off for a month.
*Time Skip*
The week Shane and Ryan were supposed to come back you had agreed, along with Sara, to pick them up from the airport. Over the last month you told Sara about everything and even noticed your crush on him. It was currently two-thirty in the afternoon and you and Sara were standing in the airport looking around for the boys. Sara was in decent clothing while you were in Shane's hoodie and leggings. You had been standing for thirty minutes before the tall man caught your eyes. You ran through the crowded airport just trying to get to Shane. When you were about ten feet away he noticed you and dropped his bags. You hug attacked him, jumping into his arms. He was a little confused at your sudden.....attachment?
"Is that my hoodie?" You nodded your head that was buried in his neck. "How'd you get it?"
"You left it in my apartment." You said muffled. He was about to say something but wouldn't give him the chance. "Please stop talking."
"I was going to say that I missed you." He whispered. "Now let's get out of this airport."
Holding you with one arm and holding a suitcase with the other, all of you walked out of the airport to celebrate the boys finally coming home.
