He keeps his promises

Emma's P.O.V

We were walking to our classes so me and Luke had to seperate. He has math and i had science...Fun. Before we seperated Luke asked me if i could come over after school. Just as i was walking in the halls Josh came and slammed me into a wall.

"Luke isn't here now is he" He said with an evil smirk

"What? Scared are we?" He said

"Never" I said back, only to regret it later

"Oh you wanna put up a fight do ya?" He said

"Might as well since it's gonna hurt anyways" I snapped

"Good" He said "You understand the consequences"

The next thing I felt was a stinging feeling on my right cheek. Then a kick to the stomach, Fist to the nose and a another kick in the stomach.

"Please Stop" I begged

"Never gonna happen until you've learned your lesson" He said

Everything started to get blurry I dont know if it was because of the tears or am I going un-conscious. Next thing you know Luke is storming down the hallway.

"GET AWAY FROM HER" Luke shouted

Next thing you know Josh is getting punched in the nose. Then one was thrown at Luke but he dodged it like it was nothing. Luke threw another punch at Josh's nose, he then ran away like a scared little puppy.

"Are you ok?" Luke whispered

He bent down and picked me up like last time. I couldn't tell if he was crying or not.

"I should have been there" His voice cracked "I could have saved you from getting hurt" 

Then I felt something drip on to my forhead, a tear?

"You did save me Luke" I whispered

He looked down at me in surprise. Then it turned to tears again

"I could have been there sooner" He cried out

"Luke, It's going to be ok" I said "You did the best you could"

After those words I passed out not being able to talk to him anymore.
