Going to the castle, he looked around the area and saw all the damaged buildings that had been destroyed by Edgard and his men. He and Lusilla had been riding in a carriage that would take them to the castle front gates and they would walk the rest.
Many men looked around the carriage and it felt great to feel at home. Though, Isaac knew his life would have never been the same since that day. He had become a prince, and he and Lusilla both decided to not announce him being a prince so suddenly, and instead, they would give it some time.
"So... I'm gonna be a prince now," Isaac said looking to Lusilla.
She gave a soft smile and said, "You'll get used to it... but I've already contacted father... and mother everything that happened." she said.
"You contacted... mom?" Isaac asked looking to her.
"I've decided If I told her, she would come back and we could be happy again. I want us to be happy..." she said.
Isaac looked at her and smiled, "I see..."
"And, I've also decided to tell the people that you've won the contest, and you'll become my husband, but in time, I will reveal your Identity..." she said.
"Yeah my stolen identity," Isaac laughed.
"I really wish my memories could come back... but they probably never will," he paused and continued, "But... I want to give a note to Elijah's parents... and mine... but the note for my parents will be different... And hey lusilla, Is it possible to get a good treatment for my mom? My adopted mom?" Isaac asked.
"Of course, I'll arrange those as soon as we get to the castle inform me on whats wrong with here when we get there," she said.
Then the carriage stopped. Isaac got out first and assisted Lusilla in getting out. They walked to the gardens of the castle then inside the castle.
"Isaac, I'll get some servants to clean you up and change your clothes, in the mean-time I'll show you your room. It's high up so get ready to walk up some stairs," she said, grabbing Isaac's arm and approaching the stairs.
First, they stopped on the second floor and she showed Isaac a place where he could watch the knights train each morning. Second, they went to the fourth floor, where Lusilla's room was, and lastly, she went to the fifth floor and showed him his room. It had a wide door and two small tables on both sides decorated with plants.
He opened the door and there was a huge bed with four pillars, and it had wide windows. And it was certainly much grander than anything he had had before in his old house, but he did like the style. Lusilla explained that they had the whole castle to themselves so they could do anything they wanted. She also told him that if the king and queen came they would know who he is so they wouldn't have to explain everything.
Isaac nodded and Lusilla left to give the messengers two letters made by Isaac to his adopted family, and Elijah's family informing them of his death. When the messengers left, Lusilla sent servants to go and scrub Isaac and give him new clothes. Then they both ate dinner and went to bed.
The next day, Isaac slowly woke up in his bed seeing three faces.
"Kozert... my beautiful son!" two people yelled.
He jumped up and hugged his mother. It was Lusilla and his two real parents. Shockingly, Lusilla was holding hands with her mother and they were both smiling which had meant they had settled things out.
They spent the whole day bonding and their mom had concluded she would stay with them again. They all had a happy time... but if Kozert had known that it would end soon... he would have bonded more and cherished those moments even more.
