I hear the noise of an anti-fire alarm.
What?
I turn my head and see Max holding a big hammer: the glass of the anti-fire button was broken by her.
"Good job, Max. I was literally frozed. Without you I think this girl would probably died."- I whisper.
"Yeah, I know..."
"No way..."-says Nathan.
"Don't EVER touch me again, freak!"- the girl screams, pushing him on the floor. Then walks away.
Nathan gets up and runs away from the bathroom:-"Another shitty day..."
"Oh. my. God. This is the first day! The FIRST! And already is everything so strange!"- I'm shocked.
"Here, at Arcadia Bay, life is strange."- Max corrects me.
"You're right... Now Max, please , we need to go out. I don't want a bullet in my stomach."
We leave the bathroom.
The alarm is louder and the corridors are empty.
Suddenly a man, with a hat which says SECURITY, appears in front of us:-"Hey, do you hear that fire alarm? That means you should be outside.""We had to use the bathroom..."-says Max.
His face is angry. I think he doesn't believe us.
"Girls always use that excuse."
I've imagined it.
"Excuse for what?"- now Max is irritated.
"For whatever you're up to. Your face is covered in guilt."
"The alarm tripped us out."
"Then trip out of here, Misses."-he says showing the door with his finger.
"Or are you hiding something? Huh?"- he comes more closer.
Damn, I came here to became a great photographer, not a criminal.
"Thank you Mr.Madsen, the situation is under control. There's no emergency here. Leave Miss Caulfield and Miss ______ alone and please turn off that alarm, since that's your job." - intervenes principal Wells.
Oh thank God.
The security guard leaves, but his eyes burn us alive.
"C'mon _______ , let's get out of here. The lessons are finished."
We walk over the corridor to the exit but when we try to get out principal Wells call me and Max.
"Excuse me, can you come over ? I need to talk to you."
Here's the trick, he doesn't let us go that easy.
