Chapter #8

Albus pov

I was dancing with Madam Maxime when I saw them, Minerva was dancing with Severus. Severus Snape. Did she break up with me for Severus Snape. I couldn't help but be jealous, I still loved Minerva even if she no longer loved me. She's been avoiding me since that night in my office when she told me she didn't love me.

I contiuned dancing with Madam Maxime and some others thought out the night but relised that Minerva had left. Severus was talking to Madam Hooch over by the table I'd seen him and Minerva sit at earlier. I suddenly didn't know what to think, surely if Minerva had come with Severus they would have left together to wouldn't they? I questioned in my own head.

It was getting late and the students were still going hell for leather, I decided it was time to leave them to their own devices and went to bed. As I layed in bed and looked up at the celine I thought of her as I did most nights. Minerva was so shockingly kind and beautiful, I had thought she loved me but clearly I had been wrong Minerva told me herself she didn;t love me that night in my office.

She hadn't been herself since her fall, I'd thought she was mad at me for bursting into the Great Hall in the middle of breakfast screaming for Poppy to help me. Minerva hated the students seeing her in an unprofessional light and unconscious in the headmaster's arms was most likely unprofessonal in her eys. Dipite what had happened she'd rold me she wasn't mad but had still left me, she'd said it wasn't anything I'd done and she wasn't mad she just didn't love me. After that she'd all but run out of my office, since then we'd barely said two words to eachother and I had a feeling it would be a long time before we did.

After what seemed like hours I finnaly fell asleep, dreaming of the one and only the beautiful Minerva McGonagall.
