ICE QUEEN

Chapter one

"Sometimes I look at you and wonder how I got to be so damn lucky."

Ariyah's pov

Goosebumps began crawling up my arms as the ice around me grew wider, and to be sincere the nights weather wasn't helping at all. I've been out here for at least two nights now and the only hing I seemed to notice was the weather getting more and more cold each night. It makes it more unbearable for me to stay one more night out here.

For two whole nights I've been staying in this spot, broken, hungry, cold and the worst path is I have no where to go. Right now I only have two options, go back to the alpha or sit here and either starve to get or freeze to death. I've never really imagined what deah feels like, but right now I think I'll prefer death to this hell of a life I'm living.

I expected the alpha to have found me by now, cause I didn't think I went that far. I was in human form anyway so how far could I have gone. Not like I'll even want to be in wolf form again. Just the taught of going through the pain I was I the first time I shifted brought shivers down my spine, and ever since then I've been getting this ice around me. To be sincere sometimes I'm grateful for the ice. At least since when I got it the alpha hasn't been able to get close to me, then he gets really angry and lashes his anger on my mama.

Mama, my mama is still there, probably even killed by now, and it's all my fault.

Beginning of flash back

"Ariyah" I heard some one say as the person shook my am.

"Ariyah, get up baby, we don't have much time" the person said shaking my arm again. I lifted one of my eyes open to see my mum looking straight at me with determination in her eyes.

" Mama, whats wrong, did the alpha do anyt _ "

" No, no baby, nothing's wrong, but something would be if you don't get up right now, we have to go there's no time left." She said while trying to loose the silver tied to my wrist.

"But mama, what if they catch us, what if we're not able to run away, they might kill us, And we will have no where to go.Mama I don't think this is a good idea." I said trying to explain to her that there's no use of running away, but it didn't seem she understands or even cares to say the least.

" Oh baby, you won't be running for everyday of your life, you'll find your mate before that, someone that will love you regardless of everything you've been through, your other half baby, he'll love you unconditionally, with his perfect intoxicating scent, And baby, they won't catch us dont worry, and even if they do, they won't kill you, the alpha want a you,so they can't kill you baby, and I'm not going to sit back and watch you suffer when we were giving a chance to escape all this, now stop asking questions so I can loose this thing." She said as she tried loosing the sivler around my wrist again. She hissed as the silver came in contact with her beer hands, but still didn't give up. When she finished loosing the silver, she dragged me up and out of the room within seconds.

We began moving around from one cell to another, trying to find an exit.we had passed like four cells now when an exit finally came into sight. I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding. We ran as fast as we could to the exit hand in hand. As soon as we reached it. My mama let my hand go and tried opening the exit door. I moved to her side immediately trying to help her open the door, but my clumsiness just had to reveal it's self then and there so the clumsy me tripped on my own steps and hit a pile of cans beside the exit door. It made a loud crash to the floor and immdiately we had footsteps approaching.

"Baby, you have to go now" my mama said as she finally opened the door quickly.

" No mama, I'm not leaving you here all alone" I said shaking my head.

"No baby, you have to go, please, for my sake, please, don't worry nothing's going to happen to me" she said as she glanced back in the directed we came from upon hearing their footsteps grow louder.

" But mam-"

"No ariyah, there's no time for arguing okay, you have to go now" she said while pushing me out the exit door.

"Bu-"

"Run ariyah, Run" she shouted as I saw two figures right behind her.

And I took off, not once looking back to take a last glance at my mama.

End of flash back

I let a tear slide down my cheek as the memory of my mama filled my head.

"No" I choked out as the tears pilled in my eyes ready to fall out.

"She can't be dead, right, they can't kill her. You're not going to die mama, you aren't" I managed to say with my dry trout as more tears pulled up in my eyes as i brought my knees to my chest in other to keep my self warm the best way I could.

"I'll get you back mama" I said finally letting all the tears fall out.

How do you like the book so far. My first actual book. I'm just 13 so don't mind my wordings, I'm not good at spellings.

I'm obsessed with warewolf books,and I mean OBSESSED, and I'm like, why don't I just write one of my own.
