Ariyah's pov
I sat there for what seemed like hours, just thinking.
I didn't know whether to feel bad or accept that the new alpha is going to hurt me just like how the old one did.
As much as I wanted to listen to what ever was trying to assure me that he wouldn't hurt me, I couldn't bring myself to trusting a complete stranger.
I don't know who he Is, where he's been, what he's done, if he's murdered people.
I had to stay far away as possible fro-
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door opening. I didn't look up expecting it to be the alpha, but I didn't get those fuzzy feelings i get whenever hes near me. I shifted my gaze to door as fast as I could. My gaze landed on two women by the front of the bedroom door, the one in front looked to be twenty and the one behind looked older, probably twenty one
They were both....damn it....they were both.......
GORGEOUS
The one at the back had dirty blonde hair that was set in a pony tail with big brown eyes, while the one in front looked so much like the alpha, the only difference they had were their eye's colour, hers were cyan.
"Hey" the girl in front said moving closer to me very slowly with the girl behind trailing right behind her also slowly, as If they didn't want to frighten me.
"How are you feeling" the one with blonde hair said this time as they came closer to where I was.
As harmless as they looked, I didn't want to interact with the them . So instead I shifted back a little and shifted my gaze to my left looking at nothing in particular.
"We aren't going to hurt you, we promise" the one in front said this time as she slowly sat on the bed in front of me.
Me being me, I couldn't seem to trust them so I shifted back once more trying to avoid them. Eventually they'll leave if I don't answer them.
"I'm amaya, I'm aldens twin sister, and this is Samantha, but she's mostly called Sam." She said upon me trying my best to ignore her, she just didnt see i didn't want any company did she. But there was something she said that caught my attention. Who's Alden?
"We don't want to harm you, we just want to be friends, please, we mean no harm, we know you've been through a lot, and we wouldn't want to add more problems for you, please, just one chance, to show you we aren't any harm." Sam as I learnt her name was said.
I shot my head in their direction immediately, they wanted to be friends??, with me??, I built up all the courage I had left in me and said the first thing that came to my head.
"Who's Alden?" I asked without thinking, but i didn't regret it, I did want to know who Alden was.
"Alden,your mate Alden" amaya said this time confusion laced in her tone. Mate?? I've heard that word before. Yes my mama, she said my mate would love me unconditionally, is that what they are talking about.
"You don't know what a mate is do you Ariyah" Sam said.
I shifted my gaze to Sam staring at her for some moment.
"I-i know a mate is destined to love the other unconditionally, and someone's other half and ill know my mate tgriugh his intoxicating scent" I said shifting my from Sam, staring at no where in particular.
"Yes that is true, but that's not all ariyah" Sam said.
Amaya sighed as she moved a bit closer to be taking my arms in hers, I didn't move like i the clumsy me would have done, instead I allowed her to hold my hand in hers as I felt a warm feeling wrap me.
"According to Greek mythology ariyah, the first wolfs and humans were created with had four legs, arms, and eyes, and two nose, mouth, and heads, afraid of our powers we were splitted in two leaving us to find our other half also known as a mate, shortened for soul mate." Amaya said taking a pause allowing me to take everything in.
"And then that's where the part of a mate comes in ariyah" Sam said this time finally sitting on the bed a bit closer to amaya.
"See ariyah, as maya said we were splitted in two leaving us to find whoever our other half is, who our soul mate is, it's literally love at first sight ariyah, you know that person's your other half by their voice, warm eyes, touch, presence, and of course their intoxicating scent." She said applying a small smile to her lips, I can see she's talking out of experience.
"After finding your mate ariyah the marking comes next." Amaya said.
"Marking? " I said giving them the questioning look.
"The marking is done to show other wolf that you have a mate ariyah, it's shows unmated horny wolf's that you belong to someone already" Sam said this time.
I flinched a bit upon hearing the word horny, it reminded me of my dreadful life with a really horny alpha.
I didn't feel amaya's hand on mine anymore which caused me shifting my gaze to where she was to she her using the hand she used to hold me to move her midnight hair to a side showing her neck.
My gaze was focused on a pale mark that sat proudly on her neck. To be sincereit did look a bit good on her. I shifted my gaze to sam trying to figure out if she also had a mark.
As if reading my mind, her actions were similar to amaya's as I was met with another proud looking mark sitting on her neck.
"So......... you guys have found your other half" I said giving them a question in look.
They both nodded with a small smile on their lips. I smiled a bit too seeing how much they most really like their other half.
Note to mental self: you need to find your other half.
Okay let's see what i recall, when i find my other half also known as my mate, I'll know he's the one through, his voice, his presence, his warm eyes, his touch, and of course his intoxicating scent.
Got it.
But why do I feel as if I've felt all this things before..........
"Oh no" I breathed out.
I have felt all this before, the presence, the voice, the intoxicating scent, the warm lemon green eyes that never seem to leave my mind.
