1987 Japan.
I Stood outside the Kujo residence waiting for my friend Jotaro, examining my nails to pass the time. The breeze of Japanese spring brushed up my ankles. The sweet smell of cherry blossoms came soon after.
"Good Grief." I heard come from behind the gate to Jotaro's house. He stepped out, wearing his ornamented cap pulled down to cover half of his face. His modified trench coat with a tall, stiff collar, pierced on the left with a golden chain. Classic Jotaro.
"You've been out of school a bit, are you alright?" I questioned as we began to walk, holding my bag in front of me.
"I'm just fine, don't worry about it. My grandfathers in town is all." Jotaro didn't even look my way, he kept his eyes forward. It was very common for him to do so I nodded my head.
"Is your dad still on tour?" Jotaro hummed as yes. Jotaro's father was a Jazz musician that often wasn't home. Jotaro's mother Holly was a gentle and giving woman, even to a entitled teenage girl like me. Or anybody else, I suspected it was because had lived with a bit of loneliness. Jotaro was the same, everyone's first impression of him is that he is a rough delinquent. That's partly true, he only showed kindness to those who he likes. Since I being his childhood friend, was happily one of those people.
Half way to school, the girls showed up.
"Hey, Look! It's Jojo!"
"What? Jojo?" All the school girls faces turned towards us.
"You're right it is Jojo!"
"Hey Jojo."
"Good morning Jojo." They all cooed sweetly. Both Jotaro and I had the same reaction to the last dozen of time they have done this, Unamused.
"So tell me Jojo, where have you been, you haven't been to school in four days?" a girl came up to Jotaro and grabbed his left arm, clinging onto him.
"Hey! who do you think you are grabbing onto Jojo like that?" Another girl came up and a pulled her off. I sighed, hoping today they would just leave earlier than they usually do. They started to get into an altercation to the point they were just chanting insults to one another.
"Could you hens stop you Squabbling? Go cling your bubbly spirit into some other warm body." I Turned and called out. They stopped and first looked shocked then upset. Jotaro and I kept walking.
We walked down a pair of steps next to some lovely cherry blossoms, I gazed upon them. admire there beauty. Suddenly there was a deep gash in my leg just bellow the knee, I tumbled from the sudden pain and slipped down the stairs. I was meeting the end when suddenly a strong force grabbed me from behind and halted my face from hitting the bottom pavement. Landing me laying on the steps at the very bottom. I looked behind me to see what could have cut me, I caught sight of nothing, also what broke my fall? I looked up to see Jotaro all the way up at the top making his way to me. I tried to sit up, the gash pouring out blood.
"Y/n next time you better look where you're walking." Jotaro came down helping me stand up. Jotaro analyzed the gash in my leg, He used his stand to break my fall unbeknownst to me. He could have sworn he saw the deep gash before I fell leaving him to question. Looking back at the top seeing what could have possibly cause a deep gash.
"I'm glad I didn't crack my head open on the flagstones, but I would like to patch this up." I stood up on my own, dusting off my school uniform.
I heard footsteps come down the stairs, I turned my head to see a young man of average to above-average height and fit to slender build. Wearing a slim-fitting long pine green school uniform with gold buttons. With medium-length hair red hair, a single large, twisting bang hung before his face. He had long, fine arch, earrings tipped by small spheres, almost resembling cherries. He also had a long smooth white scarf wrapped around his neck and arms. He came down to where I was.
