I parried one of Gallaniara's heavy blows with my training sword. I heard the impact of wood on wood and my arm felt like jelly. I was slowly weakening, but Gallaniara still looked fine. It had been five years since I found her. I never knew she was so strong. Was her brother like this?, I thought. I still didn't know much about Gallaniara's history, I knew how much it pained her to talk about it. Heck, I didn't even know what her brothers name was. Gallaniara decided to take advantage of my thoughts and knocked me to the ground.
"What ever you do, don't get distracted," she said, pointing her sword to my chest. "Wait, I just wanna know, I've helped train you for about five years, and you still get distracted? How?" I looked at her and rolled my eyes.
"I honestly don't know. I've always done this," I panted as I got up.
"You're lucky I'm not my previous instructor, he went very hard on me. Always beating me, until I lashed out and injured him severely." I looked into her eyes to see if she was being serious or not. She was being serious.
"Uh, I know I shouldn't bring this up, but I wanted to know what your brother's name is." She paused for a moment. I winced, feeling bad about the memories I'd just given her back.
"His name is Ingressus. We're twins." She was silent after that.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't of brought it up." She looked at me with a small, sad smile.
"It's fine. You were going to ask sooner or later. Shall we?" Gallaniara motioned towards her sword. I smiled, nodded and got into a ready position. "Don't get distracted."

We fought for the remainder of the day.
"How about tomorrow I teach you how to use a Song?" Gallaniara suggested.
"What? Really?" I was honestly shocked that she suggested that.
"Yes really. Heck yeah or no way?"
"Heck yeah!" She smiled and slightly laughed at my enthusiasm.
When we entered our cave, I felt a strong hand grab my forearm and pull me aside. Gallaniara noticed and followed. I looked up to see my uncle.
"Sorry about that. I can't let your father see this. Your mother on the other hand... I don't know," he said. I looked at him curiously. "Oh, your name's Gallaniara right? I also brought something for you." Gallaniara looked curious but cautious, she hadn't met my uncle yet. He was usually off selling and making tools, absolutely everywhere. "Well, I brought you both swords," my eyes widened in shock, it seemed to have the same effect on Gallaniara,"uh, this one's for you Abalyes and this one," he pulled out another sword, it was a bit bigger than mine," is for you Gallaniara."
When I recieved my sword, I looked at it in amazement. It had a leather wrapped hilt, a big diamond- shaped-diamond, a shiny, curved iron cross guard and a long, sparkling diamond blade. I wrapped my uncle in a hug.
"I love it!" I almost shouted in his ear. I let go of him and turned to Gallaniara excitedly. She was holding a sword that had a dark obsidian blade, a purple orb at the pommel, a diamond crossguard with a purple crystal in the middle and a diamond hilt with iron wrapped around it, still exposing the diamond beneath it. .
Gallaniara looked at it in wonder. She was speechless. She looked back and forth between my uncle and her sword.
"What do you think of it?" My uncle asked her, amused by her speechlessness.
"I.. I absolutely love it," Gallaniara said, still in her trance-like state.
"Oh, come here you two!" My uncle wrapped us both in a bear hug. "Just remember to keep it safe and hide it from Castros and Stezora." My uncle let go of Gallaniara and I.
We quickly sprinted to our room to find a place to hide our swords. I managed to find a spot behind some thick vines and I put my sword there. Gallaniara couldn't find a place so I snatched her sword off her, the sword felt surprisingly heavy, and put it in the same spot as mine. She nodded her thanks to me.
"Rusaryen, you're back?" I heard the familiar voice of my mother shout.
"Yes Stezora, I am back. I have also made a good profit if you're wondering," my uncle replied. Gallaniara and I rushed out of our room to see what was happening.
"Rus, can I talk to you privately for a moment?" My uncle looked at his sister, my mother, confused.
"Okay." He followed her into another room. My father walked into the room my mother and uncle were in.
"Gallaniara, Abalyes, tell Drekader to stay outside. You two also stay out there, you can't hear this," my mother said, leaning around the room entrance. I nodded and Gallaniara followed me outside to find my brother training. I told him what our mother had said. He looked confused but was going to stay outside. What could they possibly talk about that they don't want us to hear? I thought, confused.
