I was separated from Abalyes. We would have to fight with a small team that had come with us. I knew Abalyes could hold her ground against Wither skeletons and normal skeletons, but it didn't stop me from worrying about her. I really hope she doesn't come across a Wither.
I hacked down the Wither skeletons in front of me with my dark, obsidian blade. I glanced back once, hoping Abalyes would show up and that my team was still alive. I noticed that more and more Wither skeletons were showing up and my team was starting to struggle. I watched a soldier fall, I was unable to get to them in time. Another fell, their life being extinguished. I had ten teammates left. I attempted to save one, but I couldn't get there in time. I felt panic starting to rise in me. Another fell, followed by yet another. Seven. One got stabbed from behind. Six. Wither skeletons teamed up on a group of three that were sticking together. Three. More Wither skeletons were surrounding us. My remaining teammates tried to make it over to me, one killed in the process. Two. We went back-to-back to fight off the Wither skeletons surrounding us. One was stabbed through their stomach. One. I glanced over at my last teammate, they were struggling to keep themselves together after seeing so many killed. I killed the Wither skeletons that were right in front of me. I heard a sudden scream beside me and I turned to look. My last teammate was dead. I was the last one remaining.
I was struggling to fend off the Wither skeletons surrounding me. I heard footsteps running up to me and I turned around, only to get a deep gash in my chest, made by a Netheran with an axe. I felt as if the breath was stolen out of me. I dropped my sword and fell to the ground. I watched the Wither skeletons move out of the area I was in, along with the Netheran.
I felt like I was going to pass out from the pain. I knew I couldn't move because of my injury, unless I wanted to die faster. I heard many footsteps run up to me, Abalyes' group.
"Gallaniara!" One of the soldiers shouted. I propped myself up on one of my elbows and turned to them.
"Get me Abalyes. Now, please," I almost begged.
"I'll go get her. You," the soldier pointed to another,"keep an eye on Gallaniara."
"I'm not going any where." I smiled weakly. The soldier ran off to get Abalyes. I concentrated on keeping my breathing steady to help calm myself. The soldier returned without Abalyes.
"Where is Abalyes?" The soldier watching me asked them.
"She ran off trying to find Gallaniara," the soldier, that looked for Abalyes, said with a hint of amusement in their voice. I slightly smiled. That's definitely something Abalyes would do.We waited a couple of minutes and Abalyes finally turned up.
