Tory was still gone by the time Kayla and I got back from visiting Jamie. I wasn't sure where she was at, although I knew she left with Maddie so she's probably hanging out with her somewhere.
I had called my mom as soon as I got home, but she never answered.
It left me a little confused cause she always answers my phone calls, but this time she didn't so it was raising some concerns.
Calling dad, he answered right away.
"Hey dad." I smile.
"Hey sweetheart, what's up?"
I sigh as I sat at the counter. "Nothing much. Where's mom?"
"She went somewhere with Tory. Not sure where."
Furrowing my eyebrows, I nod. "Oh ok. What are you doing?"
"Just sitting in my office, going through bank statements."
"How's Chase?"
I heard him sigh, which I knew wasn't good. "I don't know what's going on with that boy. I'm deeply concerned that he's going down a road of bad habits."
"How did you and mom take it when y'all found out he was dating Patricia?"
"We were furious. We grounded him for fighting, but we don't think that's helping."
Shaking my head, I leaned my elbow on the counter. "I'm sorry dad. Wish there was something I could do."
"I know pumpkin. We got it though. You need to come over and visit soon."
I smile. "I will, dad. I love you."
"I love you too, pumpkin."
After we hung up, I sent Tory a text then placed my phone on the counter. I sat there for a moment before hearing a knock on the front door. I furrowed my eyebrows before standing up and walking to the door.
When I opened it, I saw Regina standing there. I was in complete shock when she smiled at me before clearing her throat. "Hey, Carter."
"Uh.. Hi." I look her up and down, but still couldn't believe she was standing in front of me at my front door.
"Sorry that I just popped up unexpectedly." She chuckles. "But um, I was wondering if we could talk?"
I stared at her for a moment before slowly opening the door, allowing her to walk inside. I watched her very carefully as I shut the door behind me then wondered what she had up her sleeve.

Tory's POV
I was laughing so hard my stomach was hurting. I couldn't help but cry a little as the laughing was turning into ugly sobs.
We were all eating at the restuarant while talking about things and laughing our asses off. It felt so great to be surrounded by the people I call my family.
"I can't wait for all this to happen." Mom smiles. "I've been waiting for Carter to get married ever since she was a little girl."
Maddie made a face and I couldn't help but chuckle. I look back at mom and smiled. "My mom was the same way. She always dreamt of me getting married and having a huge ceremony."
I told Carter's mom about my mom a year ago when I knew it was the right time. We were all talking one night and I decided to let everything flow out, I mean I knew it was the right thing to do and she was super supportive.
She understood everything and I couldn't have been more grateful.
"I remember we always used to joke about marriage when we were running around in college." Maddie joked.
