My classmates sighed in disagreements and chatter during that minute.

"What an annoying day," I spoke as I sat up for any reasons.

"Joyce," he spoke. "Let's talk about this thing, okay? I don't want to destroy the plan and just disagree with it. I'll be waiting at the dorm if you ever need me." he smiled and wrap me in his arms.

"Alright," I sighed in agreement.

That's it? Is this the moment I expect that history day? I really don't understand what really happen to us!

I pursued myself to stop thinking about what happened to me. We sat, never letting go from each other. They clapped, even our history teacher. She said that's the better way to say sorry. She also thought that we are already girlfriends or boyfriends, that's why we do this.

After the final bell, obviously, it's our dismissal. I was about to go back to our dorm when he reminded me that I'll be there at five at the history teacher's room before he left. I waited at the bench at our lobby, where I saw Gnille coming to talk to me, as we have discussed with her before.

"Hey, Joyce, something crazy happened?" she asked.

"Yeah, really awful." I answered. "I got detention this afternoon just for arriving at the class very late."

"Well, that sucks. I just really need your help on my project, if you want to help."

"I would like to help, but I won't miss detention. I need to go, Gnille, I'm sorry." and I left, but Gnille grabs my arm.

"Well, I would like to help on your detention. It's still four thirty-five, so let's go to your dorm!"

"Fine," I gave up.

We went to our dorm. She was happy when she seen the neat and simple dorm, you know. I'm not artistic enough to design our own dorm. It was four forty-six in the afternoon when Marlou arrived. There was a secret door. I left the dorm. Only Gnille was inside, but I could hear Marlou and Gnille's conversation.

"Anyone here?" He asked in soft voice and went inside the dorm.

"Hello Marlou, your roommate was here earlier, and... she's... ummm..." Gnille said and was laughing when she seen me waving and left. "She wasn't here!"

"Wait what?" Marlou shouted. "I need to find her, we have something to discuss all about. And also, I need to catch after her before we got a detention together!" And he left the dorm.

"Good luck!" Gnille waved goodbye and closed the door.

Gnille remained in my dorm. I arrived, getting in through the secret door.

"Hey, what's the update?" I asked.

"Well, your roommate was looking for you and he was terrified when you are lost. I lied!" She said in joyful voice.

"Great. Now I need to fi---" I was about to continue but...

"Anyone here?" A person said. "Gnille, my love?"

"Oh no! It's Adam Reylandrien!" I need to hide!" She whisperly said.

"Oh yeah, hide to my secret door." I said.

Gnille left. I opened the door.

"Hey Joyce, have you seen my Gnille?" Adam asked.

"Yeah, she was here but... She left because she have to prepare for their rehearsal tomorrow for their parade!" I answered.

"Okay, now who's behind you?" He asked once again, when I seen the face of... "Gnille, my love!" He wraps Gnille in a tight hug.

I just watched them in awe, as my jealous side, now needing Marlo– wait, no, I need to stay away to obviously hide my feelings.

I was mad going back to the history teacher's room. Good thing we have no class that time, because it was obviously no class, right? I haven't see Marlou, but behind me, he was quietly followed me. I was shocked to see his face remain his... whatever.

I faced him. I don't know what to do. He hold my hands, leaning forward to me and then he put his shoulder around my back. He said that we will be going to go to our history teacher's room to talk to her. Still in shocking mode, I saw Gnille and Adam coming towards us. They greeted with a smile and tears of joy.

"We will be going to have a baby soon!" Gnille lied.

"Well, congrats?" I said and left them talking.

"Hey, Joyce! We're not done yet!" Marlou shouted.

"I'm sorry, but i'm in a hurry!" I lied, and running to go to the restroom.

"Wait, where did she go?" Adam asked.

"I don't know? Maybe she's in hurry?" Gnille answered.

"Sorry guys, I need to follow her." Marlou said and left.

Yes, i'm officially escaped! I went to the females' restroom to hide, and pretending I find something left.

Let me clarify everything. I had a feeling for Marlou, and it just annoys me if he come to me hugging or even kissing my forehead. It sucks and it really sucks. I don't want to be around him. Even this time, I was supposed to be in detention, but why am I stupid? Marlou obviously needs me, but I'm the one who stays away from him and pretend like nothing happened between us.

Here comes trouble. Shayne appeared like a bat.

"Joyce! Why are you here?" She asked. "By the way, congrats about that earlier! Ayieeeeee!"

"Shhhhh! I want to escape from Marlou right now!" I answered, leaning into the mirror to face myself.

"Hahaha! What a coincidence! Did you feel sorry to our leader?" She asked once again.

"Shut up---" I was about to continue but...

"Joyce? Are you there?" Marlou knocked the females' comfort room and I hide in the very last sink. I closed the door gently.

I'm busted. I'm about to caught. Until Shayne spoke to him.

"Yeah, Marlou?"

"I just wanna see Joyce. Is she here? The clock's running out and we need to be in detention!"

"Well, I guess she isn't around, will you look around the garden near our classroom? I guess she's only hiding?"

"Well, I overheard your conversation earlier, and it's clearly proved that Joyce's there."

"Obviously too, I and Joyce have same voice, so don't say that Joyce's here too."

"Fine, just let me know if Joyce's here, okay?"

Shayne and I relieved about that thing. I can finally escape myself from him. Thanks to Shayne, I can finally camouflage myself, sneaking around the teacher's table then went myself, but Shayne left me a reminder.

"Marlou might be here."

"Shayne... Thank you so much! I couldn't done this without you. I can't pay you the help you gave me–"
"Joyce," Shayne stopped me. "Seriously, you need to calm down. Your kindness is enough to pay me. Eventually, Marlou might be sneaking out of our classroom, you need to take caution. I had to go, Wendy's waiting for me." and Shayne left.
