Summary: You and James decide to chill a bit after revising for exams gets really stressful, that is until you get interrupted...

y/n's POV:

"Ugh, I can't take any more studying!"

Books were piled around you, pages lying around and you could hardly be found beneath this mess. Tears were threatening to fall as you tried to memorise the last paragraph in the worn out book.

"Hey, Y/n have you seen-"

James walked into the room and stopped when he saw the state you were in.
"Hey, why are you studying so hard, you know everything in these books, you're gonna ace your test."

Your eyes looked up at him in defeat,
"But there's this one-"

James cut you off,
"No, no, no. We are not studying anymore."

"We?"

"Come on, let's build a pillow fort, I've always wanted to do one but Sirius has always ended up knocking it down!"

You giggled slightly, narrowly missing the eyes of your boyfriend's eyes light up at the sound of your laughter.
"Okay. let's go"

"We need loads of pillows and blankets, let's go up to your dorm, I bet Remus has loads of blankets."

You took control, grabbing your boyfriend by the arm and both of you running up the stairs to his dorm, both of you giggling like tiny children.

"Okay, James, you get the blankets and pillows. As many as possible, I don't care if you steal from the rest of the boys,"

"That's my girl" James quipped in between your instructions.

"Don't interrupt me, I will clear the space so we can make a base and then work up from there."

You both got to work, grabbing as many things as possible.
"Who knew Sirius owned so many pillows?"

"Please, he was always a softie on the inside."

Once everything was collected you started to build the fort, blankets and pillows were scattered around the floor. James started to get excited and started jumping up and down, you tried to stop him but watched in horror as your amazing creation fell to the ground,

"James! You bastard, are you sure Sirius was the one who always knocked down the fort?"

He just looked at you innocently you sighed,
"Come on, lets get it back up but if you do this ONE MORE TIME, then no more."

You repeated your actions and smiled at your accomplishment.
"Hey, come here. It's super comfy,"

You turned and noticed your boyfriend snuggled up between the blankets, patting the space next to him. You couldn't resist and layed down as he wrapped his arms around you,
"I love you so much, you have no idea." His hoarse voice made your heart flutter as you replied,

"I think I have an idea. I love you so much too."

You leaned in and kissed him on the lips, not letting go as you fell more in love with the famous James Potter. Your special moment was pure bliss until you were interrupted by the deers roommates,

"What the hell happened here?" Remus' soft voice broke your kiss, you let your head fall against James' chest as he chuckled, you loved the marauders but damn, they could not take a hint.

"James Potter and Y/n Y/l/n, I can not believe that you would make a PILLOW FORT without me!"

"Goddammit Sirius, go away!"

"Hell naw!"

Both you and James sighed as you felt two body's fall next to you, ruining the perfect scenery of pillows and blankets.

You looked into James' brown eyes and sighed, you both knew you wouldn't be able to get the boys out of here so you just accepted it and layed there in eachothers arms. You listened to James' heartbeat which lulled you to sleep, still smiling and filled with peace...

Time skip to the morning:

You woke up and felt tons of blankets over your body, pillows scattered around your head too. It finally dawned on you that you had fallen asleep in the fort you and your boyfriend had made the night before. You turned your head, expecting to see his beautiful yet goofy face yet screamed when you noticed Sirius had made his way between you.

"Good - stop screaming - morning love birds!"

"What the fuck Sirius?"

You heard James' voice from the other side of the fort. You sat up and looked around, Remus was starting to wake up on your other side and Peter was curled up at the bottom, blankets forming a nest around him.

Sirius and James started arguing about personal space boundaries,

"Sirius, you can't just sleep in between us like that!!"

"But you were so warm and soft!"

You just smiled and watched the scene outfold, this was your family, maybe they were a bit chaotic and acted like absolute crackheads at times but you loved them, deep down.

"You know they're never leaving this place,"

Remus warned you, already predicting the near future,
"I know, we might as well just transform the whole room."

"We should, but don't tell them," he said, pointing to the fighting boys,

"They're just gonna make a mess".

You laughed, the boys crashing you and James' cute dates and moments were something you were getting used to by now.

A/N: sorry if this was pretty crappy, the ending sucked but I wrote this during a maths lesson because I wasn't paying attetion becuase maths sucks.
