"Nick how far ahead did you send us" asked Dalton
"I said I don't know. I just set a time in a hurry" said Nick
"This looks like the future. You sent us to far Nick. And I know it's your fault but how are we going to get back" asked Marissa
Nick started to think about it.
"What are we going to do? We can't just wait here" said Hailey
"Agreed we need to get out of the cave. Now that we are close to the future (just a few steps) we have to go" said Selena
"Well what are we waiting for let's go" said Shane
Everyone walked out and it was the brightest it's ever been. Big signs that projected ads and tv shows everywhere. Flying cars. Everything the future held looked great.
A announcement came on every single screen.
"And now a word from out overlord" said the announcer
Screen was silent for a minute
"Wait...overlord... we could be that far in the future could we" asked Eli
"No we couldn't but is say we would've been dead anyway" said Noah
The screens went to a video broadcast. And there was that familiar face.
"People of the world. I am so glad that you are here to listen. It's not easy being me but know this. Pain is everything and I am ready to end this. As I speak it should be getting darker. That's because a dome is being put over the entire world. I control your weather. Just like I have been controlling your lives. Now pleas go back to what your are doing. And remember Steele lives forever" said Dr. Steele the worlds leader.
The screens continued to their regular programs.
Everyones jaw dropped and were so confused.
"How can Steele take over the world" asked Marissa
"Because of something's are missed on. Once we were sent back he was free to do anything and with his powers anything was possible" said Hailey
"We need to go back now. Nick know anything to power the machine?"asked Dalton
"Theres a lot I can use here just need to buy some things. And then we have to get back to Steele Hall so we can be in the right place." said Nick
"Ok go get what you need we will find a place to hide well look around for a good place" said Hailey
Nick went to look around for an energy source while everyone else looked around town.
