So I watched this little short movie about this blind kid who made his first male friend and they fell in love and it was adorable and it inspired me to make this n.n it's a lot sweeter than this and a million times more put together u.u this sucks so much imma barf tho bluh I hope you like it tho~

We walked home together, her tiny hand wrapped around my arm. It was dark, but she needed to get home. The sound of our feet against the pavement rang through my ears and the singing of crickets danced in the empty air.

“Emily, how much longer until we get there?” she whined.

“Katrina, you know how long it takes to get from the shop to your house!” I told her sternly.

“I’m sorry, I know,” she sighed. “It just feels so long!”

“Well you didn’t have to wait for me the entire night! Why didn’t you ask Aaron to take you home?” I asked her.

“I don’t want to talk about Aaron,” she said, stopping in her tracks for a minute before walking yet again.

“Why not? What’d that asshole do this time!” I asked. Her face twisted in pain and sorrow as she thought.

“What hasn’t he done! He cheated on me and then pushed me down, saying that it was all my fault! He said if I wasn’t so useless and needy then maybe it wouldn’t’ve happened! He said if I could see then he’d have a harder time sneaking around and that’s the only thing I was good for!” Tears raced down her cheeks and her hands covered her face in shame. My heart clenched in pain for so many reasons. Anger flushed through me before I pulled her into a hug. She put her head into my shoulder and sobbed as I shushed her and brushed her soft black hair with my hand.

“It’s okay, Kat, I’m here,” I cooed. “There’s no way that ass is getting away with this.”

“B-but you can’t do anything! I don’t want you getting in trouble because of me! I’m just a stupid little blind nothing,” she pouted.

I pulled away from her and held onto her shoulders.

“Is that really what you think? Because I see a beautiful, smart girl in front of me, one who could use a little protecting. I don’t care if I get in trouble, that asshole is getting what he deserves because no one messes with you like that and gets away with it, am I understood?” I said sternly. She wiped her eyes and nodded.

“Yeah, thanks Emily,” she smile weakly.

“Don’t thank me yet, I still have to get you home,” I smiled back. She slipped her hand around my arm and we walked to her place in silence, though her head was against mine and there was no space between us the entire time. My heart soared as we walked and finally I got to her house. I unlocked the door as always and pushed her inside. “Bye, Katrina,” I said.

“Wait,” she said, reaching out and touching my arm. “Can you take me up to my room, I don’t want to make too much noise. I’m afraid my parents are asleep.” I smiled.

“Yeah, sure,” I grinned. I lead her up to her room and turned on her lights. She had a normal room with white walls and bright green bed sheets.  “Did you want to change?” I asked her. She nodded and slipped her pants off, making me turn away and blush. I waited until she was in bed to look back. I walked over to her and kissed her cheek like always. “Good night, Kat,” I said, my heart tight with eagerness but I let it go.

“Good night, Em,” she smiled. And with that I went home.

We walked home again. I decided work wasn’t worth it. My cover up was coming off and I didn’t want to reapply it or explain the cuts and bruises to my boss or customers. Katrina’s hand was wrapped around my arm again, which today was bruised. I winced as she gripped tighter and I watched her frown. I kept walking.
