" Here baby have some water " Nana said passing the water to him.
" Thanks " he collected it and gulp the whole glass.
" Was there something I said" she said and a grin made it towards her face.
I just sat there quietly smiling to myself.
" No Nana. " he said regaining himself.
" So I know we can get everything within two weeks but I think it best if we start now." She said.
" But Nana I have work today" Rodriguez. argued.
" I wasn't talking about you,I'm talking about the bride. She's the owner of the day baby. Feel free to go to work." She said.
" I see your point Nana,I'm not needed." He said and he stood up." Here's my card" he dropped it on the table. " if there's anything else needed. You are free to call. I have to go " he said leaving the table.
" Hey? " she called.
" yes Nana?" He answered.
" You won't give Paris a kiss before leaving?" She asked him.
And just then I came back from my trance.
" What?" I asked.
" He's leaving without giving you a kiss." Nana faced me.
" He doesn't have to" I said waving it off.
" yes he does." She said glaring at Rodriguez " You almost married. You should get used to it."
" But Nana.. " he argued but she cut him off.
" But nothing baby. You have to. I say so,so you have to."
I think she's on to us.
" Fine." He said coming back.
And then Nana smiled at her victory.
He looked at me for the second time today. His eyes looking for approval which I gave him.
He leaned in. His head now blocking Nana from seeing us. He mouthed sorry and then he rose and then left.
Wow what a smart person. I smiled to my self but I was still kinda disappointed.
" Aww you guys are so cute." Nana said.

" so? Let's get started." She sang out.

Nana almost got pissed cause any ring she chose for me I would agree.
