Chapter 21:How could you.

" I don't think I'll ever like Marcus" Lance said ruining the moment.

" What do you mean?" I asked him.

" I feel he's gonna steal my lady." Lance says trying to avoid my gaze.

" Your lady? " I laughed out loud.
" You mean me?" I asked to be sure I heard him correct. He didn't respond. He just stared.
" No one's gonna steal your lady if you didn't have one." I said being serious.

" What do you mean Paris?" He asked finally looking at me.

" I mean,after the wedding and you get what you want and I get what I need it over." I said.

" But..." He tries.

" Remember Lance strictly business. And apart from that we just friends." I said shutting him up.

I didn't bother waiting for his reaction. It for the best. I walked away.

" Excuse me." I said walking away.

While heading back to the party I was dragged.

" What the......Marcus?" I was surprised.

" Paris...I need you to be honest with me." He said.

" What's wrong?" I asked him.

" Do you really love this guy?" He asked me.

I gulped at the question. Did he find out yet?

" Y...yes I do." I said almost loosing my confidence.

" You lying." He said.

" What do you mean I'm lying!" I argued.

" I heard everything....how could you keep this from me. If you need help, there are other means. Why this one. I feel the guy treats you unfairly!" He yells.

" Marcus enough! I chose to do this cause it was at the last minute. Please don't...." Before I tell him not to cause a scene he walks out.

Oh no!

I ran after him,he was walking so fast towards Lance. Shit!

" Hey Lance " Marcus called. Immediately Lance turned around to look at who had called him, Marcus gave him a punch on his face. Making Lance land flat on the ground.

I stopped immediately Lance fell.

Marcus got on top of him and kept hitting him. I got back to my senses and ran to the fight.

" Marcus! Stop it!" I held his hand from punching him anymore.

I was probably crying by now.

I then realized everyone and everything else going on had stopped to stare at us.

" That would be all every body. Thanks for coming" Papi announces. Making everyone leave while murmuring.

Marcus stood up and when he saw me crying he tries to clean my tear drops on my face but I turned away from him.

" Family meeting now!" Papi says and everyone headed to the house.

I helped Lance up. His lips was bleeding. I used my hand to clean little of the blood and he smiles at me.

" Okay can some one explain what happened back there." Papi started.

We were all seated in our parlour but the main focus was on Us three. Since none of us spoke Marcus stood up.
